Today, I would like to express my deepest appreciation to Winnie Nyondo.
Although she does not know me personally and we have never met, I have closely followed her work on social media. I have watched her live broadcasts of political leaders and national events, and I have seen her commitment to informing Malawians about what is happening in our country.
What touches me most is her impartiality. She does not choose sides. She does not promote one political party while ignoring another. Instead, she shares information about all parties and leaders without bias. That is true patriotism. That is genuine love for Malawi.
In a time when division can easily weaken a nation, her balanced reporting promotes awareness, unity, and understanding. Her dedication, consistency, and courage to present national issues openly demonstrate a deep sense of responsibility toward our country.
If more women—and more citizens in general—would rise with the same spirit of fairness, transparency, and commitment that she shows, Malawi would greatly transform. Our democracy would be stronger. Our people would be better informed. Our future would be brighter.
Winnie Nyondo, may God continue to bless you abundantly. May He protect you, strengthen you, and reward your selfless dedication to this nation. Your work is meaningful. Your voice is impactful. And Malawi is better because of your service.
With great respect and admiration.

Your Excellency, Mr. President, H.E. Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika,
I wish to sincerely commend you for delivering a strong, clear, and well-articulated State of the Nation Address. Your message demonstrated vision, direction, and a deep concern for the future of Malawi.
Your emphasis on economic recovery gives hope to many citizens who desire stability, job opportunities, and sustainable growth. A strong economy is the foundation upon which national prosperity is built. Equally encouraging is your focus on food security, which remains essential to the wellbeing and dignity of our people. A nation that can feed itself stands firm and confident.
Your commitment to good governance and national development reflects the importance of accountability, transparency, and long-term planning. True development is not only about today but about building a better tomorrow for future generations.
However, as we move forward, the success of these great plans will depend on consistent implementation, transparency in action, and inclusive leadership that ensures no citizen is left behind. When vision is matched with practical action and unity, our nation will truly progress.

A Message to Fellow Youth
By Bornface Chiwere
My fellow young people,

It is time for us to rise and take responsibility for our lives before circumstances destroy our future. Many of us are slowly losing our direction because we have chosen to focus on the wrong things. Instead of building our dreams, we are engaging in activities that do not add value to our lives — and in the end, we find ourselves frustrated, wounded inside, and without purpose.

Too many young people today are silently suffering. We are battling inner pain, confusion, and discouragement. Yet instead of confronting our challenges with courage and discipline, we escape into distractions that weaken our potential.
One of the greatest tools of our generation is social media. However, we are misusing it. Social media was not created for us to expose our weaknesses, display our immaturity, or compete in unhealthy comparisons. It was not meant to destroy our dignity or damage our future.

Especially to the young women, I say this with respect: let us guard our self-worth. Over-sharing personal matters and seeking validation online can cost us our peace, our reputation, and even our destiny. What we post today can shape how the world sees us tomorrow.

My fellow youth, let us stop living for likes, comments, and temporary attention. Let us stop mocking others who are progressing in their own lives while we remain stagnant. Instead of criticizing, let us learn. Instead of envying, let us work. Instead of pretending, let us build.

Let us make firm and courageous decisions about our lives. Let us invest in our skills, our education, our character, and our dreams. The future belongs to those who prepare for it, not those who waste time chasing empty validation.
We have power. We have potential. But potential without discipline is wasted opportunity.

Let us rise. Let us think deeper. Let us act wisely. And let us build a future we will be proud of.

Thank you.
