I hope God helps our marital journey on how to move forward and progress. You see, as much as starting the journey may be easy, finishing thereof becomes an issue to many. Many start relationships but not all finish to the end. Many start Marriage but not all finish to the end. I have people even here who may be on the verge of giving up on their marriage and some are giving up on relationships because the journey thereof is not easy at all, I want to teach you Laws that can help you move forward in your marital journey. You see, I have learned that it is possible to move forward in marital life but it will take certain things for that progress to be effected. Anywhere in your marital journey that the enemy has made you stuck, I speak progress in the name of Jesus!
Ladies and gentlemen, I have discovered that any marital journey without devotion is a journey that is full of marital breakdowns. Devotion is an outstanding commitment to someone or a remarkable dedication to someone. Many relationships or marriages are failing due to lack of devotion to God, your partner or due to a lack of commitment to rules that govern marital lives.
You see, one thing I have learned is that anything to do with your marital life will demand your devotion. It can be your devotion to God, your partner, or your commitment to doing what God expects of you as a man or woman. If you can't be ready to be a devoted lover of God or devoted lover of your partner, there will never be progress in your marital journey. Some of you, your relationships or marriages are in trouble because you are not devoted.
If you are not ready to be committed to your partner, then don't try to look for a relationship or marriage. If you know that your devotion is questionable, don't try to enter into a union with someone's daughter or son. If you know that your devotion will be more to your job than your partner, then don't try to enter marriage. There are people who were looking for a relationship, but when they find it, they are not devoted to it but rather are too busy to attend to that relationship.
If you know that you are not ready to be devoted, don't enter into a relationship or marriage. Do you know that as I am saying right now, some of you, your relationships ended or are about to end because lack of devotion is what is killing that relationship. Even if you begin a relationship or marriage that you know that it is God who gave you that partner, there can't be progress if you are not devoted to it. Not every relationship or marriage that ends means that it wasn't from God. There are marriages that end because there was no devotion even though the marriage came from God.
It is either you are a devoted lover or you are a diverted lover. Devoted lovers are those that are committed to what they have started. Diverted or divided lovers are those who have diverted their attention from what they were meant to be devoted to. Don't start what you won't be devoted to. Don't start a relationship you know you are not ready to be devoted to. Don't start a marriage you know you won't be devoted
If you know that you are not ready to be a committed lover, admit not to love.
The problem is you want to start a relationship or marriage yet you are not ready to be committed. You see, for you to progress in marital journey it will call for your utmost devotion. If you know that you can't be committed, I will advise you like Apostle Paul that you remain single. The daughter or son you want to carry will need someone who will be committed to them. Some of you right now are in a relationship with devoted less partners, and you know that there is trouble in that relationship
Men or women with no devotion will tell you that they are not ready to get married and all they will want is just to continue with you in a relationship without planning for marriage because they are running away from the devotion associated with marriage.
If you see someone who is not ready to be devoted to God or to you, run away from them. Marriage is a commitment to God and your partner. Diverted lovers will divert their attention from you or that Marriage and they will put their focus more on something else, either their job or something. It is not wrong to have your attention on your job, business, career etc but if you have started a relationship or marriage, make sure to realign properly what you are devoted to more , And if you are a Pastor like me, Ministry should never be an excuse that you can't be devoted to your spouse or family. If you know that you are a Pastor who can't show your devotion to your partner as you do ministry, please serve God only and don't marry.
What am teaching you may sound not important to some of you but it is the reason many marital Journeys don't progress. If you see a partner not finding time to communicate to their partner, chat with their partner or family, it is because devotion is what is lacking. Finding time for your partner is part of devotion.
When you see a partner cheating on their partner, it is because devotion to one partner is what has lacked.
Faithfulness is part of devotion. If you see someone who can't stay with one partner for a long time but can rather change partners anyhow, it is because devotion is what is lacking. Loyalty to one partner for a long time is part of devotion. Devoted lovers don't end good relationships anyhow
Devoted lovers are men and women of Sacrifices. Devoted lovers are ready to sacrifice their time for God and for their partner. Devoted lovers will sacrifice their time for the sake of spending their time with their wives, husbands or children.
Jesus demonstrated that He was a devoted lover by sacrificing many things for the sake of mankind. Devoted lovers will deny themselves some things just to make their partner happy.
One of the signs of devotion in love is how someone is ready to deny themselves some things for the sake of you. If you want to know if someone will be devoted to you in marriage, check how they are devoted to you in that relationship now. If you are not yet in a relationship and you want to know if that particular man will be devoted to you if you accept them for a relationship, check how they are devoted to you now.
And hear this, if there is any man or woman who is not devoted to God now, don't be assured that they will be devoted to you.
