POLICY FEATURES
• A member will pay a premium sum of MK2, 000.00, MK4, 000.00, MK10, 000.00, MK20, 000.00 per year.
• If the member dies, the C.C.A.P Blantyre synod shall pay a sum of MK 50,000.00, MK 100,000.00, MK250, 000.00 , MK500, 000.00 to the member ‘s nominated next of kin.
• The member can add his or her beneficiaries to the plan at the cost of extra Premium amount of their choice per beneficiary, when the beneficiary dies cover/benefits of that policy shall be paid to the main member or the nominated next of kin.
• Beneficiaries shall include spouse, children, brothers, sisters, parents or any individual related to the main member.
• The age at entry for main member starts from 18years.
• Age at entry for beneficiaries’ starts from 6 months and does not require medical tests.
• There is a 2 months (60 days) waiting period- for natural deaths only. Accidental deaths are covered immediately.
• The claims shall be paid 24 hours from the time of notification.
• A membership card/ death certificate/notification from traditional chiefs shall be issued to the main member as evidence of membership. REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A MEMBER OR A BENEFICIARY

REQUIREMENTS TO PROCESS A CLAIM
• Stamped Letter from Village Headman OR Police abstract report in case of accidental death, in the absence of Affidavits.
• Copy of ID card of the deceased/ Letter of surrender of ID card
• Friends of C.C.A.P Blantyre Synod membership card if available
