The Break Forth Mandate - The Force of Serving the Lord

Introduction
The service emphasized the expected difficulties in the end times as the devil's intentions to steal, kill, and destroy. In the midst of that, God's desire is abundant life, and the church was reminded that God has plans for prosperity and well-being (Jeremiah 29:11; 3 John 1:2). The break forth mandate encouraged believers to move forward forcefully, displacing the enemy and experiencing divine intervention for significant transformation in their lives (Isaiah 66:8-9; Isaiah 58:8).

Serving the Lord
Pastor Lyton taught on the levels of blessing; general blessings, blessings for the born-again, and specific blessings for those who serve God (Malachi 3:18). He emphasized on the necessity of serving God with Zeal as a strategy to realize the break forth mandate. The man of God also shared on some of the reasons why a Christian must serve the Lord as;

1. People were created to serve God (Eph 2:10)
2. Jesus Served God (Mark 10:45)
3. God expects people to serve Him (Exodus 8:1-2)
4.There are benefits in serving God (Exodus 23:25)
5. Serving God is an investment in eternity (Matt 6:19-20)

The man of God closed by encouraging the believers to engage in service actively, and join the in-service teams that exist in the church.

SUNDAY SERVICE With Pastor Aaron

19th May 2024

Today, our pastor encouraged us to eagerly desire spiritual gifts, reminding us that every good thing mentioned in the Bible is worth striving for. We should prepare ourselves for every opportunity to exercise these gifts, using various platforms to preach and teach the Word of God. Whether in season or out of season, we must be ready to minister to others, as the Word of God is always relevant and true.

The pastor emphasized that Christianity is not just about appearances, but about living out our faith with a heart of love for people. Prayer is an essential aspect of our Christian life, and we must continuously prioritize it. The Bible instructs us to pray without ceasing. Without prayer, our spiritual lives will suffer, and the church will falter. Let us commit to a life of fervent prayer, as it is the foundation of our faith and our relationship with God.
