The Word of Knowledge

The spiritual gift of wisdom has absolutely nothing to do with a person’s natural intellect, formal education, or worldly experience; it is a 100% supernatural gift. It is a precise fragment of God’s infinite wisdom, perfectly extracted and bestowed by the Holy Spirit to provide exact guidance on how to act, what to speak, and how to make the right decision in times of crisis or urgency.
Unlike the “Thin Nyar” (accumulated knowledge and memory) taught in schools, the “Pyin Nyar” (divine wisdom) that comes from the Lord provides a God-given strategy on how to handle and resolve a problem according to His perfect will.
When enemies came to test the Lord Jesus with a trap question regarding paying taxes, Christ did not rely on worldly wisdom. Instead, He shattered their trap using a Word of Wisdom, declaring: “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.”
Today, whenever we lose our way in life and hit a brick wall, asking, “What do we do now?”—the gift of wisdom serves as the ultimate way out and the exact answer sent directly from the Lord.

With all my heart, I pray: Heavenly Father, open my spiritual eyes. Grant me the wisdom needed to help others, and reveal Your divine truth to me today. Amen.

Self-control is not about prioritizing yourself; it is about prioritizing God. You cannot put God first without truly loving Him. It does not mean you can control yourself simply because you have no desires or are completely devoid of want. Rather,
it is the spiritual maturity to deny your fleshly ego, pride, and arrogance—refusing to misuse the strengths and abilities you possess in the traps of the wicked one. Sincere self-control is choosing the will of God over the cravings of the flesh.

(9) Self-Control

Self-control is not about prioritizing yourself; it is about prioritizing God. You cannot put God first without truly loving Him. It does not mean you can control yourself simply because you have no desires or are completely devoid of want. Rather, it is the spiritual maturity to deny your fleshly ego, pride, and arrogance—refusing to misuse the strengths and abilities you possess in the traps of the wicked one. Sincere self-control is choosing the will of God over the cravings of the flesh. We can specially look at the example of the Lord Jesus Christ in the wilderness: even when He was intensely hungry, He did not listen to the voice of the wicked one, but completely overcame through the Word of God.

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7

Holy Spirit... I surrender all of my desires to You. Please help me to bear the fruit of self-control abundantly and firmly. Teach me to do Your will rather than the desires of the flesh. Amen.

Gentleness is not weakness. It is power under control. Christ did not choose the stone; He chose grace.
If the world pushes you to throw stones of judgment, anger, impatience, and retaliation, follow the example of Christ. In the hardest, most chaotic, and loudest moments, let the power of gentleness and peace flow out of you.

(8) Gentleness
A crowd full of anger brought a woman caught in adultery to Jesus Christ, ready to stone her to death. In the face of an angry mob loaded with weapons and condemnation, Christ responded with gentleness.
Gentleness is not weakness. It is power under control. Christ did not choose the stone; He chose grace.
Instead of shouting, driving them away, or blaming the crowd, Christ simply made them reflect on their own lives and hearts. And without judging that broken woman, He gently told her not to commit sin again.
If the world pushes you to throw stones of judgment, anger, impatience, and retaliation, follow the example of Christ. In the hardest, most chaotic, and loudest moments, let the power of gentleness and peace flow out of you.

"Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand." Philippians 4:5

Lord Jesus Christ, transform me to become more like You.
Grow Your gentleness, meekness, and patience within me.
Even in moments when people decide it is impossible or unwarranted to be gentle, let the gentleness of Christ bear fruit within me.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.

Our reception of Jesus Christ as our Savior is entirely free, a matter of pure grace. In the same way, receiving the Holy Spirit—whom Christ promised to us—does not depend on our own hard work or human striving. It is a divine gift that is completely free, given solely through God’s grace.
In the physical world, someone who is genuinely hungry shows it through their outward expressions and feelings. Likewise, if we are truly longing and hungering for the Holy Spirit... let us open the doors of our hearts right this very moment, invite Him in, and truly give Him His rightful place.
