With the intent to empower women from tribal churches and girl students at the college, a seminar on woman and child care, family life and s*x education are being held this week. Also a workshop on money saving group is being held for church leaders.

Si She Ngwa, a graduate of Gottingen University, Germany, taught agro-food processing to the students. Agro-food processing will help rural tribal communities to preserve perishable vegetables and fruits for a longer period of time or market them for a better profit. Definitely it can be used as an effective “mission tool” to reach out the rural tribal communities.

More than 8 evangelists were trained with eyeglass making skill. The will be able to make eyeglasses for unprivileged tribal peoples in rural areas. Also Chuck McDaniel taught a 3 days seminar on Economics to the TBC students.

Three sows are under the care of TBC students who are learning pig farming at the school. One sow has given birth to 10 piglets. The other two sows are still expecting.
