Today, I was reading Genesis 22. Here God tells Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac, whom He had promised to Abraham, "Through Isaac shall your offspring be named." But Abraham obeyed, and he was blessed. Just as it's written in Hebrews 11, "17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was in the act of offering up his only son, 18 of whom it was said, “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 19 He considered that God was able even to raise him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back."
Sometimes, we meet tribulations and troubles, we are broken hearted and we start doubting God's grace. But in these kind of times, it is important to keep hold onto your faith, and in my experience, I brainwash myself and say, "God loves me, and he will never do something that hurts me. This may be a blessing in disguise" and I pray to God to give me strength to overcome. And the blessing may come way later when you don't expect it. Just like Job. God tested him and he passed. And God blessed him twice as much as he was blessed before the test.
So keep our faith strong. Don't let the devil get you, because he is always prowling around trying to devour you. And he is very good at finding cracks to get in.
That's it for today. May God bless you all
