Concerning Spiritual Gifts

(v4) There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. (v5) There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. (v6) There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

The Man of Lawlessness

(v1) Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, (v2) not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. (v3) Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. (v4) He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

(v5) Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? (v6) And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. (v7) For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. (v8) And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. (v9) The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, (v10) and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. (v11) For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie (v12) and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Stand Firm

(v13) But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. (v14) He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(v15) So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

(v16) May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, (v17) encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

GOD's WORD Concerning Married Life * Concerning Change of Status * Concerning the Unmarried

Concerning Married Life
….
(v10) To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. (v11) But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

(v12) To the rest I say this (I, not the Lord): If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. (v13) And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. (v14) For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.

(v15) But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. (v16) How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

Concerning Change of Status

(v17) Nevertheless, each person should live as a believer in whatever situation the Lord has assigned to them, just as God has called them. This is the rule I lay down in all the churches.

…Sinful Humanity… Repent and live!

I read the Bible message about “God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity” and decided to post and share it for the awareness of all. With awareness, we can prevent and rebuke sins and evil forces to come our way. “JESUS” name is powerful and we must declare it with faith that greater is JESUS that is in us than in the world.

Please read all and let the whole world know that we (all) need to repent to live eternally in the Kingdom of our loving God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.

God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity

(v18) The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, (v19) since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. (v20) For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

(v21) For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. (v22) Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools (v23) and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
