Another remarkable experience I had in Madagascar was having the privilege to witness the impactful ministry of the Pearla Project, an OM initiative aimed at empowering young school girls from impoverished backgrounds. Through sustainable projects and spiritual mentorship, these girls are being equipped to pursue a brighter future. With 150 girls currently enrolled in the programme, the Pearla Project is sowing seeds of hope and empowerment across communities, demonstrating the profound impact of holistic missions. The transformative power of mission work I saw in Madagascar has ignited a fire of inspiration within me.

It was an honor for the OM team in Madagascar to host Lawrence Tong at the beginning of 2024. It was a time of encouragement for the whole team.

The Logos Hope ship arrived in the port of Antsiranana Madagascar on Friday the 27/10/23. We are excited to see what fruit the ship will bear during its time here with us.

Events have already started including a youth worship and prayer night, and the bookshop is open. Will you pray with us that the ships visit will be fruitful and open new doors for ministry in Madagascar.

In Androy recent distributions of Audio Bibles have been having an encouraging impact in the cell groups. Leaders of the cell groups recently received an audio bible in their mother tongue of Antandroy that they can share by radio or on their phone in the village.
It has been a challenge for the cell group leaders to share the word of God in the villages as they themselves often struggle to understand the dialect from the capital. And some members of their village wouldn't come to the cell groups because the bible was something foreign. But a lot has changed since receiving the audio bibles.
The audio bibles already have the book of Luke, Acts and the Epistles. Averesy and Hosaze shared that in each of their villages people have been gathering every evening to hear the word of God. People who were opposed to learning about God before are now hungry to hear more as it is in a language they relate to and understand.
Averesy shared that now when she asks questions at the end of listening to the word of God, people are eager to answer and share their understanding. Even the oldest man in the village is happy to participate along with the little children. This is a big encouragement to the cell group leaders.
Hosaze shared that more people from her cell group are also now going out and sharing the stories they have learned with others.
The audio Bibles have helped people to see that the Lord is not foreign and that He has a heart for the people of Androy, and there is an excitement in people to continue to learn more.

Here is a photo of a village gathering together to listen to the audio Bible.
