Sunday 30/08/26 | Sontaha Sa Bacha

We were truly blessed to have Pastor Mohau Moletsane from Quthing Ha Mokhameleli worship with us today and share the Word of God. His powerful sermon on FAITH reminded us of the strength we have when we choose to trust God, regardless of what we face.

Scripture References:

1 John 5:4–5 reminds us that our faith is the victory that overcomes the world. We are not called to live defeated, because through Christ, we have the power to overcome.

Luke 4:4 teaches us that “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” Our faith is strengthened when we choose God’s Word as our source, even when circumstances try to convince us otherwise.

Exodus 14:13–14 reminds us to stand still and trust God. When the Israelites stood before the Red Sea with nowhere to go, God made a way where there seemed to be no way. Sometimes faith means standing firm and allowing God to fight the battle.

John 16:33 gives us the assurance that although we will face trouble in this world, we can have peace because Christ has overcome the world.

LET GO OF JONAH

Tonight, we were reminded through Jonah 1 that sometimes the storm around us is connected to something we are still holding onto.

Jonah ran from God’s instruction, and his disobedience affected everyone on the ship. But the turning point came when Jonah was willing to be let go.

There are things, habits, relationships, fears, and even seasons that God is asking us to release. You cannot step into the peace and purpose God has prepared for you while holding onto what He told you to let go of.

Tonight’s message was a powerful reminder: let go of Jonah, let go of disobedience, and let go of anything standing between you and God’s purpose.
