TITLE: In The Father's Feathers
Psalm 91 shows us how God is for us, with the same feathers as a father God expects you to protect your family. You are meant to be a shelter, an umbrella. A man provides for a woman what he cannot for a fellow man. They are built to be protectors without expecting any 'thank you', though their confidence is restored by that gratitude.
The role of God to man is the role of man to his family, every family that is divinely functioning needs a hand of a father. There is a protection of a family in every father, he is an umbrella. That is how God made it. They are the roof while mothers signify windows, they bring comfort to the house. Father's make sure that doors are closed, they ensure protection.
Once the father is gone widows go through rough patches, no matter how foolish he seemed; neighbours or enemies can drag properties with them, because the protection is gone. Men are not wired to be protected, their first instinct is to protect women and children. The pride of every wife is on the husband, of every daughter is on the Father.
Ruths blessings began to flow when another umbrella came into his life. The father is an eagle, they are gatekeepers. They practicalize love whereas mothers show it.
Prayer
- My father my father, whatever blessings attached to my father that I have not seen, as I pray let them begin to manifest in my life in Jesus name
