In this Month of appreciation, God will accept your heart of gratitude, He will give you easily what others are seeking with tears. He will open great and effectual doors for you and your household even without a knock. You shall experience Peace over every storm of life.
Zerubabel laid foundation of the Temple and his hands completed it. I stand on that Scripture and pray that God will give you the grace to successfully accomplish all good things that you have laid your hands upon. Today is Prayer day for children. Join me to pray for all our children irrespective of their ages. Please take a moment to say these prayers for your children: call their names:

⛪Oh, Almighty God , my children (name them) are gifts and testimonies, and for this, they shall be blessed in their spirit and soul.

⛪Their bodies shall be full of vitality of God, their lives are garnished with wealth and abundance, as they are experiencing peace all around.

⛪ I shall not mourn over my children, because they are satisfied with long life, they shall live long and take care of me.

⛪They shall eat the good of this land and any land they step their feet.

⛪God shall not take them where there is no grace.

⛪The Almighty God shall keep us together as a united family and our relationships will be more fruitful than ever before. Amen!

⛪Erase my children's name from every evil list.

⛪There shall be no form of delay in the lives of my children.

⛪My seeds will make it on time. Every single seed of mine are for trophy of Grace.

⛪Oh God, give them unexplainable blessings.

I will not be an EX-PARENT.

⛪In critical moments, Oh God,send help to my children wherever they may be at all times.

⛪Almighty God, give them self announcing testimonies, to the glory of Your Holy Name.

⛪My children shall not receive death wrapped as love, they shall not eat the food of their enemies.

⛪My children shall not receive battles wrapped as blessings, they shall not seek for help in the camp of the wicked.

⛪My children shall not be spectators in the gathering of glory.

⛪My children shall know their Creator, and will do great and mighty exploits in the name of God, the Mighty.

⛪Almighty God, envelope my children with Your Shekinah glory.

⛪My children will be the ones to take care of their own children.

⛪My children shall reach their goals.

⛪Each of my children is blessed with all the blessings of God.

⛪I shall not use my own hand to destroy the lives of my children.

⛪My children shall not be the victim of anybody's mistake.

⛪My children's prosperity will be obvious.

⛪Their voices shall be louder than the voices of their enemies.

⛪Money shall not finish in their lives.

CHARACTER ASSASSINATION

One mistake you should never make in life, is to allow yourself to be recruited by someone,to hate another person who hasn't wronged you.

Hear this: “ We must avoid taking hasty conclusion because of what others are saying about someone else.."

What people say about others,says a lot about them.I am repeating this more directly: The things you say about others, says a lot about you!
I can tell a lot about a person by what they choose to see in others.

Character assassination is a pervasive and destructive phenomenon that is found everywhere.

You find it in families, places of worship, organizations or work places, etc.
Character assassination is the deliberate, malicious, unjustified and sustained effort to damage the reputation or credibility of an individual or group.

Character assassination is the slandering of a person or group usually with the intention of destroying public confidence in that person or group.
“Character Assassination” is the act of lowering one’s character in a bid to ruin the character of others.
There are people that take maximum delight in ruining other's reputation.These set of people have what I will like to call ‘Destructive Tendencies’. They oil their own ego by pulling other people down. PhD (pull him down).

False allegations are the most chronic form of mental abuse. When people can’t kill your dreams and purpose, they will try to assassinate your character.There are some people that your spirit will always irritate their demons! Once they realize hating isn’t working they start telling and spreading lies about you.People are assassinated once but ‘Character Assassination’ kills daily! Character assassination is a form of emotional violence against others.
Someone once said, “A friend of my enemy is my enemy.” One of the things that hinders us from living a fulfilling and inclusive life is bringing past bias and sentiments into present relationships. A friend of your enemy is not necessarily your enemy; it all depends on intentions and contributions.God can use your enemy’s friend to bless you!`

The 7 critical ‘DON’Ts' you really need to guard yourself against.

Refusing to getting trapped in them will help you live an unbiased, productive and a fulfilled life.and they are;

1. Don’t draw conclusions about people for reasons others say of them: Never draw up conclusions based on what others tell you about someone. It is a lack of social intelligence that makes people draw conclusions on others based on what other people say about them. I know you’ve heard about emotional and financial intelligence, but there is something called social intelligence.This is the kind of intelligence that keeps you sane even when others are trying to pollute your mind against someone else until you have thoroughly confirmed the veracity of the claims before you. Judges are trained to have this kind of intelligence in order to avoid biased judgments.

2.Don’t inherit other people’s enemy: It is total lack of education and enlightenment when you automatically make your friend’s enemies your own.Don’t make people your enemies just because they are not in good terms with your friends.

3. Don’t use your children as weapons of war:
God can use your enemies to bless your children Stop using them to fight those you don’t like. Your children will need to discern their enemies for themselves; never use your parental influence to make your children hate others. You may often need to guard them with their choice of friends but never plant the seed of discord in the heart of your children against someone else.

4. Don’t gang up with others to hate someone: Don’t join the majority to hate someone – you may realize that the person has no offence. Someone said, “If you don’t see it with your own eyes, or hear it with your own ears. Don’t invent it with your small mind and share it with your big
mouth”. Never join the multitude to hate someone else.

5. Don’t be used as weapon in other people’s battle: It is not every battle that you must involve yourself in. Refuse to be used as weapons in other people’s battle.When people fight dirty,refuse to take sides.Observe deeply before concluding finally.

6. Don’t hate people just because they don’t behave like you: That someone is not your tribe doesn’t make them your enemy. It is a waste of education if the only people you like are those that are like you. The greatest proof of our education is in how we respond to people whose opinions are different from ours. People who think their opinions are superior to others are most prone to overestimating their relevant knowledge and ignoring chances to learn more.
The people who don’t think like you are your greatest source of enlightenment. It is normally people that are not like us that help us grow the most. Companies that had maximized growth are really those that value diversity and inclusion.

7. Don’t judge people until you know the whole story: Someone once said, “Beware of the half-truth. You may have gotten hold of the wrong half”. Don’t judge other people’s choices without understanding their reasons.
If people say something bad about you or judge you as if they know you, don’t easily get affected. Remember this, dogs bark if they don’t know the person. People who are intimidated by you talk about you with hopes that others won’t find you so appealing.

Stay away from people who talk bad about others daily; these kind of people carry a negative spirit, and a negative spirit is contagious.The real problem is not that they are unhappy about others, but they are unhappy with themselves.

Stop the destructive habit of talking about people behind their back. Talking badly about someone else while they aren’t there to defend themselves says more about you than the person you’re talking about. When you have issues with people, try and discuss it with them. Stop discussing it with others. Someone once said, “Don’t talk about me until you have talked to me”. Stop spreading false information and rumours about others.

Stop creating walls of contention, rather help build bridges of understanding a people.
You will get there.

TOPIC: THE NECESSITY FOR RAPTURABLE SAINTS

Text: Mark 13: 19 – 23, 29 – 37, 12 & 13; 1 Corinthians 15: 51 & 52; 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 – 18

We have heard messages on rapture, concerning the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to rapture the Saints.
It is our believe that as many that have heard these messages are making ready their souls for the rapture. Even then, we are eager to learn more on the subject of the rapture in order to be well informed and live our lives in preparation for the rapture.

Mark 13: 3 – 4, Psalm 90: 12
In the above scriptures you will see that the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ were earnest in their pursuit to learn more about the second coming of the Lord.

Psalm 90: 17
If you must make the rapture, this is the prayer that we must make. As made by the Psalmist in above scripture, “Let the beauty of the Lord be upon me”.
It is important that we put on holiness and righteousness as a garment to enable us qualify for the rapture.
We need to be beautiful for the bridegroom. The bridegroom is our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew 25: 1-12
As you are hearing this message today, I want you to take note that rapture is at hand.
When you look around the world and even around our country, you will know that there is crisis and no part of the world is convenient for man. These are signs that something is about to happen.
As we study this message, it will help us prepare so that we do not become like the foolish virgins.
We must ensure holiness which makes for the beauty of the Bride.
If you are not holy, you cannot be with God.

1 Thessalonians 5: 23
Our Spirit, Soul and Body, be preserved holy and blameless.

We shall consider this message under the following sub-headings:

THE NECESSITY, EXAMPLES AND UNFORTUNATE SITUATION.
We should realise that in life, many things abound which draws away our attention from ensuring right relationship with God. These things hinder many people from seeking and serving God the way we must serve him.

Matthew 6: 31- 33
What shall we eat? What shall we drink? How shall we be clothed? These are the things the people of the world are chasing after. These things do not have eternal value.
The point is that all these things of the flesh will draw away your attention from God.
You are to make sure you are living the kingdom lifestyle.

Mark 8: 36
All the riches and wealth of this world cannot save you. They are vanity.
If somebody must go to Heaven, leave these things alone.

1 Corinthians 7: 29 & 35
We are to handle the things of this world with a light hand.
The glory of this world passeth away.
Be reminded that all the great men and women of this world that have passed away did not carry anything of of this world.
I am not saying these things in order to hinder you from pursuing your individual and corporate visions; rather I am advising you that none of these things should constitute distraction that turns you away from that which matters to God.

Mark 8: 37
The things of this world can make you to become proud.
The devil also uses the things of this world to tempt man. He used it on Jesus Christ and the devil failed.

1 Corinthians 15: 59
If why you believe in Christ is for you to clothe yourself and make money, then you are of all men most miserable.
Our believe in Christ is to make heaven at the end of this life.

1 Timothy 6: 7
We should not give chance to the devil.
The necessity therefore should be that which makes for the beauty of Believers. Things that make for holiness, inside and outside.

Hebrews 12: 14
You want to see the Lord and make rapture; then you must have peace with God and all men.

Mathew 5: 8; 1 Thessalonians 5: 23
Purity is important. As we wait for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ let us make sure there is no stain, wrinkle or unrighteousness.

1 Peter 1 : 15
In every area of your life, be ye holy.
You cannot claim to be holy while there is no peace in your life.
Do you have peace with men, even your neighbours?

Hebrews 12: 14
You must be very careful not to allow enmity with any man.
You are not of the world.
Holiness and peace with all men is what the Lord expects from you.
You cannot claim to be holy in the absence of peace.
In view that these things are essential and we must possess it to qualify for rapture, then every one should pray to possess peace and holiness.

The unfortunate situation is that many are living in unforgiveness and hatred.

OUR FOREMOST PRIORITY IN THE PRESENT HOUR AND THE DANGER OF NEGLECT.
We all who are the rapturable Saints must grow in grace. We should not remain in the old experience.

2 Peter 3: 18
We should grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord .
You must not remain in limitation. We should not dwell only on the level of salvation.
If you are saved, you must listen to the messages and ensure that you are sanctified and pure.

2 Peter 1: 6 -9
You must grow from glory to glory; from one aspect of God’s divine nature to another.
Get the things of the Spirit that qualifies you for heaven.
Let us ensure all these virtues and ensure growth from grace to grace.

When all these virtues are there, you will find it easy to forgive and show mercy. If you do not have it, you must pray it in.
You must begin to say, “Lord put all these things in me”.
I want to let you know that when you have peace, holiness will be there.
If you have any reason to retain unforgiveness in your heart, you will hardly have peace in your heart and if rapture should happen, you cannot make it.

Colossians 1: 13 & 14
We should remember that Christ has forgiven us so great iniquity and shed his life given blood as a remission for our sins.
In view of the above, forgive that man or woman that has done you evil. Forgive them for Christ’s sake.

Matthew 18: 15-17, 21 & 22
No matter the situation, you still have to maintain peace and forgive.
Jesus Christ said in scripture that you should forgive seventy times seven times (70 × 7). We should therefore realise that there is no limit to forgiveness.

What will hinder many people from going to heaven is unforgiveness.
Make sure you amend before it is too late. You have no excuse why you should not forgive.
God is telling you that if you must make rapture, then you must forgive.
Knowing these things is important.
However practising these things is more important.
I know that you are preparing for Heaven. Make sure you make peace with all men and ensure holiness inside and outside because Jesus Christ is coming.

Matthew 18: 32 – 34
If you refuse to forgive, you can never be holy nor see God at the end of this life.

1 Peter 3: 10 & 11
Seek for peace and ensure peace. If peace is running away, seek for it. Pray for it. Let there be peace.
Do not allow any man draw you into contention and unforgiveness.

As he who has called you is holy, be ye holy in all manner of conversation.
Repent now so that you can make it at last in Jesus name

The Bible tells us that it is a matter of a moment. So do not wait for that moment.

1 Corinthians 15: 52
On that day, there shall be no room for repentance. It is a matter of a moment and the door of grace will be shut. In the twinkling of an eye, it will happen.
If you do not amend, it might be too late for you on that day.

Matthew 25: 10-13; Mark 13: 30-35
Watch and pray for we know not the hour.
Everyone should watch. Is there any man you need to settle with or is there any person you need to forgive? Watch and pray.

As many that will ignore this message, they will not make it on that day. Unforgiveness is a terrible evil and it will hinder you from making the rapture.
Pray and ask God to reveal to you if there is anybody that you need to forgive or areas of your life you need to amend? Pray and ask God to reveal them to you.
If any man will not make heaven, where will the person be?

Mark 9: 43-47
Take note: It is better to have One hand cut-off than to have Two hands and end up in hell fire. Unforgiveness will take you to hell fire. Watch and ensure that you will never be a victim of hellfire in Jesus name.
As you go home today, forgive and make amends where necessary.

In concluding this message today, it is important that you amend your ways and do not return to sin.
Sin will hinder you and deny you of your blessings.

For the sinners and Backsliders, they should repent and surrender all to Jesus Christ.
Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
A Sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a Sinner.
1 John 3: 8 & 9;
Are you asking, what is sin?
1 John 5: 17a;
Unforgiveness is a terrible sin. Forgive all and maintain peace with all men.God will also forgive you.

Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, going for divination and palm reading, all that is terrible wickedness. No child of God does that. If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.

Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Are you into any kind of killing, poisoning people, hired assassin? Confess that sin and amend your ways. Promise God you will not return to that wickedness.
Are you into divorce? That is sin.
Matthew 19: 4-6.

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and a woman until death separates you.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin. Deuteronomy 22: 5
Are you among those that take s***f, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin. That is wickedness against your soul and against humanity.

All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
I have not spoken this word to condemn you but to point out what is evil thereby enabling you to amend your ways.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Proverbs 28: 13; John 14: 6; John 1: 29; John 10: 10b; Matthew 11: 28; John 1: 12; 2 Corinthians 5: 17
As you give your life to Jesus Christ and begin to live the life of the kingdom of God, by forgiving all that have offended you, I am assuring you, that eternal life shall be your portion.
Romans 10: 13
Rise up and let us pray.
That person that did you evil, go and make peace with him or her.
Go and make peace with that your neighbour. Forgive all that offended you.

The Lord's Chosen Devotional Guide

Date: Thursday, October 7, 2021

Text: Matthew 12: 43-45

Theme: OCCUPY OR BE OCCUPIED

Memory Verse: “Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.” (1Thessalonians 5:6)

There is no lacuna in life especially in matters of spirituality. When Jesus commanded us to occupy till He comes, He was counseling us for our good. He knows that if you are not engaged productively for the kingdom, you will be empty and vulnerable for re-occupation by the enemy. Therefore, he prefers to re-occupy you with sin, wickedness, and evil. In this direction, it is either you are occupying or at risk of being occupied by the devil, his demons, and evil spirits. There is no room for laxity.

Our passage today highlights what happens to a person who is saved but does not engage in furthering his or her walk with the Master. They have received salvation, but they are not growing spiritually or rendering any service to the Lord. They are just there, coming and going like the many that followed Jesus due to benefits like healing and feeding but were not interested in His teachings.

The Bible tells us that they soon stopped following Him when His teaching became too hard for them to obey (John 6: 60 & 66). Do you think that after they stopped following Him, that they continued in faith? Of course not, they went back to their old ways and became even more hardened. The devil made sure that he sent more reinforcement to ensure that they would not leave him again.

Likewise, when you refuse to occupy your position in Christ, you stand the risk of being occupied once again by the enemy. We must therefore ensure that we are fully engaged with the work and things of God lest we fall prey ourselves. The days are evil and all around us is chaos and crisis. It would be foolish to think that we can just relax and sit back instead of engaging in active battle so that we will not be captured.

We must be sober, vigilant, and battle-ready at all times. Occupy or be occupied!

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Dear Lord, awaken your zeal in me and make me be on fire for you, in Jesus' name.

2. Lord, make me a battle axe for your kingdom, in Jesus' name.

3. Every spiritual blindness and slothfulness in my life, receive fire, in Jesus' name.

4. May the glorious fire of the Holy Ghost that burns in our G. O and Mommy in the Lord, never be quenched in Jesus' name.
