📢 National Identity & Civil Registration Campaign – Sixondo, Quthing

The Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace (CCJP), together with the Ministry of Home Affairs and Police, is conducting a National Identity and Civil Registration Campaign at Sixondo, Quthing.

The campaign aims to promote civil registration and access to national identity documents, while helping mitigate the risk of statelessness among children. Through this initiative, communities are being encouraged to ensure that every child is properly registered and has the documentation needed to access their rights and essential services.

Yesterday, the Bishop Chair of the Commission His Lordship Bishop Vitalis Marole O.M.I. visited the CCJP Office for a regular meeting aimed at reviewing the progress report, discussing future prospects, and providing guidance and support to the team.

We are grateful for the Bishop Chair’s encouragement, leadership, and continued support in advancing the mission and work of CCJP.

CCJP was at Mjanyane kwindawo yokumkanikazi Nokhaya Tyhali still on the verge of raising awareness among ex-miners, their spouses and dependants about compensation available through Tshiamiso Trust and guide them on how to successfully submit claims.

Today, the CCJP staff had the honor of visiting the Chairperson of the Commission, His Lordship Bishop Sekhonyana Vitalis Marole of the Diocese of Leribe.

The purpose of the visit was to seek guidance, strengthen planning efforts, provide mutual staff support, and renew our collective commitment to revitalizing the mission of the Commission.

We are deeply grateful for His Lordship’s wisdom, encouragement, and continued leadership as we work together to advance justice, peace, and the dignity of all.
