Matthew 24:12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

Wickedness both outside the church and within it will have a chilling effect on Christians. At the end few will still be zealous in their love for God and man, most will go the way of the churches of Ephesus and Laodicea (Rev 2:4; 3:15). We must always remember that when love is gone all is gone (1 Cor 13:1-3).⚜

Enjoying Singling

"It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house. Proverbs 25:24"

People who are single desiring to get married must first of all enjoy their status. When they are able to enjoy their singleness then they can make the opposite s*x happy. The opening scripture explains that we don't marry "to be happy" for marriage could be our worst nightmare.

It also counsels the bachelors and spinsters to choose carefully. It is better to stay single at the corner of the housetop, than to marry a woman who turns out to be quarrelsome and noisy in a big mansion.

This principle also holds for women as well. Let us seek the guidance of God when choosing a life partner.
