Hello dear friends! I want to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishes as I approach my surgery the first week of March.
I am taking a hiatus from social medial while I focus on regaining my health and focus on my recovery, stillness and listening more closely to my Shepherd as he leads me beside still waters!

God is using this time to show me who He is as my Shepherd. I'm learning to follow more. To be still and watch Him lead, correct and protect.

You may see me check in from time to time. You can always reach me via Messenger or WhatsApp. I'm grateful for each of you and look forward to reconnecting after this brief quiet season. If something is important, you know how to reach me.
Grace and peace. 🙏❤️❤️🇱🇷🌍

Dear Operation Liberia Prayer & Ministry Partners, I'm writing to you from a very frigid Lake City, IL where the temperature is currently 18F, that's -8C.  It's not easy for this Liberian O'Ma!  I was expecting to be traveling with Titus by now, but the US immigration wait has gone from 13 to 31 ...

Your prayers are appreciated as we begin a Trauma Healing Equipping Session this week. It is 5 days, M-F, 8-6. The hours are long but the blessings are great! Pray for me and the other facilitators as we teach and for all those participating, that they will receive their own healing and then be used to mi sister to other hurting hearts.

This past weekend we closed out our Trauma Healing Groups with the Special Needs Caregivers in Plumkor, Grand Bassa. We began, I believe in April, the first Saturday of every month, traveling to be there. I received the following message from one of the participants.

"Dear sis Julie many thanks to you and your family and also to the church that you belong for promoting my christian life to another level. At this time i can now be happy to also teach onto someone too about what was taught in my christian life for a better change in liberia and the world as large. may (GOD) bless you more and more."

The teaching is so impactful and I am so thankful to the Lord for making it a part of my ministry! Thank you to Sis Lena Victoria Ebner from Making Disciple Makers for inviting me and to Maya Clark for being my partner in TH ministry!

It was a wonderful Saturday celebrating the women of Home of Hope at their graduation yesterday. It's such a privilege to serve alongside this very important ministry. Home of Hope is a place for women and children in crisis. These resources do not exist in Liberia. I thank my good friend Margot Biggs for allowing me to take part and thank you to Maya Clark my trauma healing partner. I thank the Liberian staff for their exceptional work and for their compassion and love for these young women. This was the 9th graduation class. 104 young women and 54 children have been healed through the gospel of Christ, helped and trained to live a better life. Pray for this ministry.

What a blessing to serve at this ministry last week! Looking forward to the upcoming Children's Trauma Healing Training!
