*THE REAL DANGER IS NOT COVID 19*

The world is driven into silence n fear, panic and uncertainty have sunk deep in the hearts of humanity by reason of the rapid spread of this contagious disease.
But there is something more deadly than this corona nightmare: "Governments"
In times like these where everyone is thinking where to seek refuge, they are marching with brutality on those seeking refuge in the house of God in the name of "observing Social Distance"
Liberian State securities are jubilant of lockdown and state of emergency that is declared, not because they really care about the health of the people, but because they see it as an advantage to harass poor citizens looking for survival.
The real threats are not only the ones that hold arms and come as rebels, they are also the same men that took oath to protect lives and properties.
The real thieves are not only those drugs addicts that are in the streets, but the ones dressed in uniforms with the seal and flag of our country on as their badges.
It was so disheartening to see officers of the Liberian National Police looting the bags and belongings of already-disbursed people that insisted on gathering to remember the holy week, strengthening and praying together. It was so sad to see Officers of the Liberia National Police firing teargas at defenseless believers and using the altar of God as ground to smoke ci******es and puff smoke in the air, mocking Christ. I was so sad to see Officers of the Liberian National Police discharge live bullets pointing up in the mist of believers running from the burns of tear gas. I was so sad to see the Liberian National Police cruelly beating children and pregnant women and beating pastors leaving them half - dead.
It was so sad to see the Liberian National Police spraying chemicals into the food and waters of believers. All in the name of "observing social distance" All in the name of "Avoiding public gathering".
Corona Virus takes 14 days to destroy its host, but our state securities take just a few mins to beat a civilian almost, even if possible to death. Every day alerts of Police brutality and cruelty towards poor citizens finding ants meat to survive. Are we still fearing Corona?
The recent raid on the Saints Assembly Ministry Harvest Ground in Lower Margibi was nothing less but a deadly mission, leaving believers with severe wounds broken body parts. Leaving babies almost dead from soffocation from teargas.

With all these, we know that heaven saw the tears of believers and your mockery. We stand by our faith, and we are back with a new formula. You want us to stay home? We can't risk our people to your brutality and cruelty, but you have just scattered trunks of fire in the mist of grass. It will catch simultaneously from every side. This Crisis will be over one day, and we will return to our worship sites with an increased zeal.
As long as we are denied assembling together to worship God, we will be at your door steps at your windows with the same bible you torn up on Friday. We hope that the fight you have picked against God you are prepared enough when he is ready to fight back.

May God protective hands be upon every believer and upon our nation, and deliver us from this nightmare of brutality and disease.

Our Position on COVID 19 Lockdown and Health Protocols and Mandate!


The Saints Assembly Ministry wishes to inform all her members across Liberia, and West Africa that we seriously object to closure of Churches by Authorities. Tho we recognize the deadly impact of this contagious virus (COVID-19), and we share the sorrow with our political leaders and health experts over the death of precious citizens in recent days by reason of this biological war that has been waged on humanity by the invisible foe. As a Church we encourage precautions needed and required by Authorities that are not against the will of God. Members within the ministry that are owners of businesses that host large crowds have adhere to the mandate of shutting down operations. Members are to observe the lockdown, and refrain from random unnecessary movements in affected areas. And we also applaud the government efforts in fighting the spread of this deadly foe.

However what we as a church will not submit to is the arrogant and rebellious Order by Governments to shutdown the house of worship to God in the name of prevention. While we realize the fact that the bible states that we should be subject to earthly Authorities, we can not also ignore the biblical truth that God is above the authority of government.

All the instances that of quarantine in the Bible beginning from the time of the plagues, wherein Israel was instructed to stay indoor, It was a mandate from God to the Leaders of Israel (government) Exodus 12:1-28;
But in the case of this pandemic, it is the Government that is instructing the house of God to shutdown. Not at free will, but by force, and they send out brutal squad of Police and soldiers to harass and intimidate Christians insisting to gather and worship their God.
We won't subject to such order. Our God is powerful enough to protect even millions gathering to worship him, and even if he does not, we will not limit his power by forsaking the assembly. He told us in Hebrews 10:25 "Not forsaking the assembly of one another, Strengthening one another."
God house is a source of hope, it is a healing center. Just as how the Lawmakers won't cease sections because it is matter of great importance, we will not close the doors of God's house because our worship together is of great courage to our panicking souls. Just as how the are advancing hospitals and won't close it because it is a place of Treatment for the coronavirus, we too will advance our prayers during our worship because it is the treatment for the fear that comes along with challenges. Just how Markets are to remain open because the people need to survive, that's how our doors of worship will remain open because our bible taught us "an Idol mind is the workshop of the devil" and without courage from prayers, we will starve with fear.

We do not test God, that's why we lay in total submission giving him the wheel to stir the fight against this pandemic. We know fully that our ideas and limited suggestions to stop the spread of this virus isn't the solution to the problem. And it will be a real provocation (Test) to God, if we give great preference to the limited recommendations by health experts that are even suggesting preventive methods yet they are uncertain of it's power to stop the spread, over God. Moreover what we will continue to Object to is the cunning device of the devil through Health experts to brand the house of God as an unsafe place. We are of the conviction that there is no better security than the one we find in gathering of believers on their knees praying to their God. Such act is a great provocation to God, and we will stand tall against it.

We are do not fear the punishment the devil through government may bring upon us. Revelation 2:10 is our courage.

It's our payer that God will not see the actions of our political leaders as provocation and move away from the fight leaving us to fight alone, but he will in his mercy see us as children only making decisions in fear of destruction.
May his healing hands come upon our land, just as he did for us during the Ebola crisis, he move and heal us of this horror.

Instead of fighting God's children that are insisting on gathering to worship God, we can spare that time to join hands in our respective calling, giving high reverence to God, and with him by our side, we will win this.
