His Holiness the Pope Receives the Ambassador of Liberia.
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II received today, Tuesday, at the Papal Residence in Cairo, Mr. Henry B. Fahnbulleh, Ambassador of the Republic of Liberia in Egypt.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Liberian Ambassador expressed his happiness to be in Egypt, praising its rich history and distinguished civilizational heritage. The discussion also touched on the Coptic monasteries and the history of monasticism in Egypt, with the Ambassador showing keen interest in learning more about the Coptic Orthodox Church, its spiritual heritage, and its historical role.
The meeting further addressed ways to strengthen cultural and humanitarian relations and emphasized the importance of dialogue and communication among peoples, contributing to the promotion of mutual understanding and cooperation between nations and institutions.
