Hope Today:
.........THE PERIL OF TODAY, THE HOPE AHEAD...........
WHY is Ignorance loud?
at every turn, she yells. The airwaves are filled with unfettered, malformed, deformed, contorted and largely ridiculous utterances of the ignorant.
Jesus says in James 1:19
So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; NKJV
The potency of spoken word has been amply manifest through history, by it kings have made waves, by it mavericks wreck havoc of indescribable proportions.
Sadly, when they that bear the rule are LACKING IN KNOWLEDGE, the situations as we experience today, both in the world and in the body of Christ, is inevitable.
However, the cure for ignorance is KNOWLEDGE!!!
it pays and shall do pay handsomely if we who seek to help others receive help ourselves.
Has it not been said,,,,STUDY TO MAKE YOURSELF APPROVED...:?
Why then would many who seek to teach refuse to be taught?
Truly, the most sophisticated and prosperous of all firms do not only hire the finest of minds, but continual training or capacity building is considered a strategic investment geared towards progressive excellence in performance.
More so, the business of winning soul in this contemporary times can NEVER be achieved with either outdated knowledge or shear ignorance. Attention must be paid to this, A little learning will do no harm.
The centrality of the Lordship of Christ must be known by all promoters of the good news and communicated in relevant ways:
in this case, I speak not only of the MESSAGE, but the METHODS. A man or woman of the gospel of Christ should posses the tools of evaluating both his/her physical and spiritual environments and possessing the skills to deliver timeless truth timely.
Lastly, the essence of communication is to affect CHANGE. however, where that change is headed is another issue, maybe for another day. Meanwhile, we must be in possession of the skills that help to analyse and measure the strength and impacts of our preaching and its direction.
In this I have Hope: that change is possible in the face of time.
