On the occasion of the funeral prayer service of our late father and hero Alhaji Amadu sheriff.
Our of body of Imams of the national Muslim council of Liberia. Salleh Abass Kanneh, was given the opportunity to lead the jumuah congregational prayer and offer some prayers for our late father.

Oh Allah, grant us the serenity to accept the death of our father and mentor, the man who spend his entire life peace unity among Muslims and people of diverse faiths.Oh Allah grant us courage to face this grief with faith, and wisdom.
May Allah grant him Jannatul firdaws. Ameen!

Asalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

Today, after diligent efforts and careful observation, the moon for the blessed month of Ramadan was not sighted. Therefore, in accordance with the guidance of the National Muslim Council of Liberia and Islamic tradition, Ramadan will be completed to its full 30 days.

As such, Eid ul-Fitr, the festival marking the end of Ramadan, will be celebrated on Wednesday 10/04/2024.

May Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds, and may He bless us with joy and happiness as we gather to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr with our families and communities.
