The Youth need Spiritual Awakening
Empowering the youth through purpose and Skills training is a major steps towards spiritual awakening. Spiritual awakening and revival are powerful movements that bring people back to God, renew faith, and transform lives. In today’s church, the youth face many challenges such as unemployment, lack of direction, moral decline, drug abuse, violence, and hopelessness. However, God has called the younger generation to become agents of change, leaders, innovators, and kingdom builders. Through spiritual revival and practical skills training, young people can discover their God given purpose and become productive in society. When the young man is empower it will help the church to raise money to support mission work.
The Meaning of Spiritual Awakening and Revival
Spiritual awakening is the moment when individuals become conscious of God’s presence and begin to seek Him sincerely. Revival is the renewal of spiritual passion, holiness, prayer, and commitment to God. Revival changes hearts, restores broken lives, and empowers believers to live according to God’s will.
The Bible says:
“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” Psalm 85:6
This scripture shows that revival brings joy, restoration, and renewed strength to God’s people.
Another important scripture is:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14
This verse teaches that revival begins with repentance, prayer, humility, and seeking God.
The Role of Youth in Revival
Young people are not merely the future of the church and society; they are also the present. God often uses youth to carry out great assignments because of their strength, energy, creativity, and courage.The Bible encourages young people in: "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12. This scripture reminds us of our role and the church need to focused on discipleship to helps mentor young people rather than looking down on them.
The time is now for the youth and we praying for God intervention and directions. The vision is not only to preach Christ but to disciples the youth. We will used skills to reach the unreach with the gospel message.
