Good morning brethrens, it's been awhile that we have not been able to visibly interact as we still find ourselves in this deadly crisis but your wellbeing, safety and sound health have been our prayers points.

We know that God is keeping u all safe and sound no matter what are facing. He is also the ALPHA AND THE OMEGA! God is our solid rock!

Good evening brethrens,

As u are fully aware of the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the globe beyond one's imagination, we are constrained to quickly inform all Young Adults that all activities of the 72nd UMC YAF are hereby postponed, beginning now and upto the end of March as we observe how situation unfolds and new measures put in place by the Health Authorities.

This decision stemmed from the directive from the office the Bishop of the LAC/UMC that all churches of the United Methodist Church must postponed all activities, ranging from Sunday services to choir practices as well as weekly activities for the period of two weeks, beginning now to early April.

As we find ourselves in these troubling moments, we hope all Christians commit to prayers as we seek God's grace and direction in defeating this global killer. Also, as we seek God's intervention, we must also not forget to follow the outlined protocol provided by the Health Authorities.

We know that there is no problem or situation that is bigger than our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. And He will come to our call no matter our unjust deeds as He is mercy and just to cleanse of us all of our iniquity. All we can say, Lord take complete control because we have no one to save us.

Finally, let's keep everyone around in our prayers and know that God has taken charge of this matter.

Hi guys, as the weekend gets in motion and your own plan of action underway, kindly remember the Young Adult Day is just a week ahead which will start next Friday, July 12, 2019 with an evening service beginning at 6pm then the next day, Saturday, July 13, 2019 will witness our Young Women Empowerment workshop which starts at 10am and ends by 12pm then giving way to the next event, the recreational activities (football & others) which will involve invited churches competing to be victorious at all fronts. Finally, the best is kept for last which is Sunday, July 14, 2019 giving way to us the Fellowship to honor our distinct members, Bro. Stanley Herron as YA of the year and Bro. Kolleh Bass & Kotatee Davies as special YA of the year whose valuable services and delegations have elevated our Fellowship to an unprecedented height! On June 15, 2019, the Young Adult Fellowship of the 72nd United Methodist Church paid a visit to the James David Hospital located in Neezoe Community, along the Pipeline Road, as part of its planned outreach to identify with them and share the Words of Christ, remind them of the love and grace He has given us to live in accordance to His words. Also, we were able to donate few relief items to them as a mean of reducing their costs as well as acknowledging and enforcing their efforts in ensuring that professionalism is exhibited in the ex*****on of their jobs. Indeed, our visit gave us first hand information on how things are actually obtaining in the hospital, the challenges they are faced with, especially in taking care of children being abandoned by their parents. This situation is of major concerned and there is a need for more interventions from everyone us! We pray for God's intervention into this matter and hope that this hurdle is mitigated in the shortest distanced future! Growing In Christ!!!

Update 1 from today's May 26, meeting: Outreach program slated for June 8, 2019, the body overwhelmingly agreed that each member pay LRD 500 for its Fellowship first outreach given the need that we shall be visiting the James David Hospital on the Somalia belt with lot of items including but not limited to the following: tissues, clorox, detergents, air fresheners and so on...Also, pledges were made and we anticipating more pledges from you.

Update 2 for today's meeting: The Fellowship Young Women workshop to be held on June 8, 2019 which is on the same date as the Outreach but will start as early as 10:30 a.m then the outreach will begin right after the workshop, we all will proceed to the earmarked location for the outreach. However, the body agreed that each member contribute LRD 250 towards the workshop for refreshment as well as to cover other costs in order to make this event a success. The facilitators are Bro. Austin Gargay and Bro. Elijah Geetoe who will properly research and elaborate on key topics (Motivation, empowerment & understanding of roles) relative to Young Women. Therefore, kindly make your payment as soon possible before June 4, the deadline date and be available as well in time for these activities so as to successfully execute these events together a team. The total payment for each member summed up to LRD 750.
Team work is strength, the source for accomplishments, it counts! Growing in Christ! Thanks!
