DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

When peace, like a river, Attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say, It is well, with my soul.
It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we all are going through this period of mourning for passing away of the Mother of the United Pentecostal Church of Liberia.

Therefore, Bishop Dr. Stephen T. Y. Benda and Children, the Yarkpawolo and Keller families and the Sinkor United Pentecostal Church family regret to announce the Death of their mother, and wife, Mother Felicia Y. Benda, who passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2023.
She leaves to mourn her Husband Bishop Dr. Stephen T. Y. Benda, three dauthers (Mrs. Jemima Benda Barh, Mrs. Patience Benda Zaza, and Miss. Debbie F. Benda), Three Grand Children(Keren C. Barh, Stephen J. Barh and Naomi Zaza) her mother, four Brothers (James Flomo, David Keller, Joseph Keller, John Keller), two Sisters, Uncles, In-laws (Christian S. Barh, and Harris Zaza) and the host of others relatives and friends in Liberia, the USA and other parts of the world.

Her remains have been deposited at the Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Home. The second and final general meeting will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the residence of her Husband Dr. Stephen T. Y. Benda on the Robert Field Highway the Smythe Medical Collage junction.

For those wishing to visit the home of the bereaved family, please come to the Blue Mansion building from the Smythe Medical Collage junction.

Funeral arrangements are as follow:

On Friday November 24, 2023 all night Wake-keeping will be held at the Sinkor United Pentecostal Church, Airfield and Tubman Boulevard Junction Adjacent the VAMOMA HOUSE @8:00pm

All tributes (except for those of Churches, Families, Organizations, Government Officials, and International Guests) must be paid during the wake-keeping.

The funeral service for our late Mother Felicia Y. Benda will be on Saturday, November 25th, 2023 beginning @ 9:00 a.m. at the Sinkor UPC
The Burial will be done at the Bentol Memorial Gardens cementry, Bentol, Bensonville, Montserrado County, Liberia.

Conference! Conference! Conference!!

The 52nd Annual General Conference of the United Pentecostal church of Liberia is scheduled to start from Monday February 13, to Saturday February 18, 2023, at the Pentecostal Assembly Mission (PAM) in Johnsonville outside Monrovia.

This year's conference will be held under the theme "UPHOLDING THE APOSTOLIC VALUES" with text from Jeremiah 35:1-10 Acts 2:42-47.

The conference speaker for this year is Rev. Ken Cantrell of the USA. There will be teaching sections daily and Evangelistic Services every evening at 6:00 PM.
TO ALL UPCL MEMBERS, you are to be in attendance.
The general public is invited also. Please come and experience God's blessings upon you and your family during the time of this conference.
