FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Cartwright AME Zion Church to Launch Sunday School Breakfast
June 2, 2026
BREWERVILLE CITY, Liberia – On Sunday, June 7, 2026, the Andrew Cartwright Memorial AME Zion Church will launch its Sunday School Breakfast initiative, which aims at providing free breakfast to all worshipers attending Sunday services.
The meal will be served from 9:00–10:25 AM at the church compound on Cartwright Street, Brewerville City, Montserrado County, Liberia. The breakfast will initially feature convenient fast-food options, as the church plans to expand the menu as the initiative grows.
Importantly, the program is led by the church, with initial support from Associate Pastor and Youth Director Minister Lawrence Coleman, and Bro. Jackson David, Sunday School Superintendent and Children’s Pastor.
The breakfast is designed to remove barriers to worship, recognizing that many families struggle to prepare a morning meal before leaving home. As Christians, the church also sees this as a unique opportunity to break bread together before the worship service.
We invite the public to join us on any Sunday, and we assure that the free breakfast is intended for both members and guests. The church also looks forward to support to sustain and strengthen this effort.
