MONROVIA, LIBERIA — The President of the Episcopal Church Men of Liberia (ECML) is pleased to announce a new set of strategic appointments aimed at strengthening institutional coordination, enhancing program delivery, and advancing the overall mission of the organization across all regions.

These appointments reflect a continued commitment to effective leadership, inclusivity, and service to the Church and its members nationwide.

President Prince Bolden appoints Elections Committee Ahead of 2026 Elections 🗳️

The Episcopal Church Men of Liberia (ECML) has appointed its Elections Committee as part of preparations for the 2026 ECML elections.

The appointment was made last weekend by Mr. Prince A. Bolden, President of ECML, at the close of the Second Bi-Annual Retreat held at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Kakata ⛪ which lasted from December 12-14, 2025.

President Bolden cautioned members of the Elections Committee to discharge their responsibilities with utmost integrity, fairness, and commitment, in line with the values of the Church and the principles of credible and transparent elections .⚖️🤝

BREAKING HISTORY IN THE CHURCH OF England

The Church of England has just named Dame Sarah Mullally as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, making her the first woman ever to hold the role in over 1,400 years!

Sarah Mullally, currently Bishop of London and a former nurse, steps into this global spotlight at a pivotal moment for the church.

She succeeds Justin Welby, who resigned last year.

🔹 A healer and servant-leader, Mullally has long championed safeguarding, humility, and unity in ministry.
🔹 Her appointment comes as the Anglican Communion faces challenges over safeguarding, inclusivity, and global unity.
🔹 She will be officially confirmed in January and enthroned at Canterbury Cathedral soon after.

This is more than just a symbolic change, it’s a turning point for leadership in the Anglican Church, with ripple effects for millions of Anglicans worldwide, including here in Africa where the communion is deeply vibrant.

🎉 The Episcopal Church Men of Liberia National Convention has officially kicked off!🎉

Today, we gathered at St. Andrew Episcopal Church, Upper Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, under the theme: “Making the Most of Our Stewardship” (1 Peter 4:10).

The spirit is high, the fellowship is sweet, and God’s presence is moving mightily among us! 🙌 Let’s come together as faithful stewards to grow in faith, serve our communities, and glorify God.
