We are built on the foundation of the Bible as the inspired infallible word of God. The Gospel: The gospel or “good new” is that Christ has suffered the curse of sin once (and for all men)
Acts 2:37
The Bible The scripture both old and new testaments are the inspired words of God, the complete revelation of his will for the salvation of men, and the divine and authority for all Christian faith and life. St: John 1:1-3-14, 2nd Timothy 3:16, 17
The Church We believe the church is the living, spiritual body of believers of which the Lord Jesus Christ is the head. The church functions as Christ would function in the earth, seeking to find lost souls for the purpose of bringing them to salvation. Signs and wonders, including divine healing, are part of the church’s ministry of Jesus on earth. Mark 16:17, 1st Corinthians 12:12-14, Colossians 1:18
God There is one God. He is absolute in power; infinite in wisdom; holy in his nature, attributes, and purpose possessing total deity. He hears and answers prayer and saves from sin and death all who believe according to his word. We believe in one God who manifested himself father in creation, son in redemption, and Holy Spirit working in the lives of people today. Genesis 1:1, 1st Corinthians 8:6
The Name of Jesus The authority of God is vested in the name of Jesus all that the believer does is to be done in Jesus Name. We believe in Jesus Christ, who is both God and man. Jesus is God manifested in the flesh. St: John 3:16, Matthew 7:22, St: John 14: 6, Acts 4:12
Salvation We believe that salvation is a gift of God given to humanity by grace and received by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that all people are sinners by nature and are alienated from God until reconciled to him by obeying the scripture. A person is saved/ born again by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, which is evidenced by obediently identifying with his death, burial, and resurrection. This is accomplished by the blood of Jesus Christ through repenting of our sins, being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission (removal) of our sins and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost (the infilling of the spirit of God) with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Romains 1:5, Acts 6:7, James 2:17;18, St: John 3:3,5, Hebrews 9:22
About Christian Living As Christians, we are to live holy inwardly and outwardly, and worship God Joyfully. Our purpose The purpose of every believer, with the empowerment and motivation coming from the Holy Spirit is to share the gospel wherever they go as the opportunity arises. We are called by the Lord to make disciples of all who have put their faith in him. Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47, Acts 1:8, James 1:27, 1st Corinthians 11:23-30
Matthew 25:35-46
