At the end of last year, we were privileged to be part of the AYS Youth Festival held at Stella Maris Polytechnic University. We give thanks to God for His protection, guidance, and grace throughout the camp, as we all returned safely without any incidents.

The camp was a period of spiritual growth, learning, and fellowship. One of the major lessons learned was the importance of living a Christ-centered life as a youth. Through the sermons, teachings, and group discussions, We understood that our youthful stage is a critical time to build strong moral values, deepen our faith, and develop a personal relationship with God. We were encouraged to remain steadfast in our beliefs despite the pressures.

From December 19–21, the youth of our parish were blessed to take part in a three-day Advent Retreat filled with faith, reflection, and joy.

The retreat was a truly prayerful experience, giving us time to slow down and prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. We had moments of recollection, allowing everyone to reflect deeply on their faith and personal journey with God. We were also blessed to celebrate the Holy Mass, which strengthened our spiritual bond as one community.

Alongside prayer and reflection, the retreat was also full of fun and games, laughter, and fellowship, helping us grow closer to one another and build lasting friendships.

We thank God for this meaningful experience and for everyone who helped make the retreat a success. May the fruits of this retreat continue to guide our youth as we joyfully celebrate Christmas

Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness."

Every day serves as a silent reminder of God's unfailing kindness and love. Today offers a new beginning regardless of the mistakes, regrets, or burdens of yesterday. God's kindness is boundless and unbounded; it meets you at the precise moment you need it. His fidelity endures in a world that is always changing. Let us take a moment this morning to give thanks to Him, not just for the significant successes but also for the small blessing of a fresh day.

Evening's reflection

Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths"

This verse serves as a potent reminder that faith involves action, not simply belief. We frequently attempt to solve problems on our own by using reason, past knowledge, or other people's counsel. However, God's viewpoint is much higher than ours. He promises to lead us when we give up control and genuinely rely on Him, even if we don't comprehend the route we're on. Although it takes patience and humility, trusting God provides direction and serenity.

Imagine having to make a significant life decision, such as changing jobs, resolving It can feel like there is too much pressure to choose the "right" option. You may be tempted to choose the option that looks the simplest or most lucrative. What if, instead, you took a moment to pray and sincerely ask God for guidance, even if you didn't receive a response right away?

Choose one aspect of your life where you're experiencing uncertainty or anxiety this week. Make a daily commitment to prayer rather than worrying or overanalyzing. Seek insight from God and let Him guide you. Seek assistance from a spiritually enlightened person and remain receptive to new opportunities and opportunities that may present themselves. God's direction frequently manifests itself in the form of individuals, events, or silent conviction.
