As we step into this new year, we do so with thankful hearts, remembering how the Lord carried us through every high and low of the past year. Some of us enter with joy, others with lessons learned, and some with prayers still waiting for answers but we move forward together, trusting God for what lies ahead.

The Bible reminds us that “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22–23). As this new year begins, may God renew our strength (Isaiah 40:31), order our steps (Psalm 37:23), and give us peace in our hearts and homes (John 14:27).

No matter how you are starting this year, know that God is with you (Joshua 1:9), and your church family is walking this journey with you.

Happy New Year, and may the Lord bless us all abundantly.

Today, we the members of Bethlehem Baptist Church joyfully join hearts and voices to celebrate the life and ministry of our beloved Senior Pastor, Rev. J. Body Whea.

Pastor, your life is a reflection of Christ’s love and an example of what it means to serve faithfully. Through every sermon, every prayer, every visit, and every act of leadership, you have poured into this church with humility, grace, and passion. Your commitment to God’s work and to His people has left a deep mark on each of our lives.

You have led us through the highs and lows, constantly pointing us to Jesus, even when the journey was difficult. You’ve been a spiritual father, a counselor, a friend, and a constant source of wisdom and strength. We thank God for the gift of your life and the anointing upon you.

As you celebrate another year of life, our prayer is that God will continue to strengthen you, bless you richly, and surround you with peace and favor. May He reward your labor with joy that overflows and a heart continually renewed by His Spirit.

What a powerful way to kick off 2025 at Bethlehem Baptist Church!

Our first Sunday worship service was filled with energy, hope, and the reminder that God has a purpose for each of us. The theme for the day was "God has placed you here for such a time," as this inspired by Esther 4:14. We were reminded that, just like Esther, God has uniquely positioned each of us in this moment to make a difference in His kingdom.

As we start this new year, let's hold onto that truth—our lives matter, and God’s timing is always perfect. No matter where we are, God is with us, guiding us, and using us for His purpose.

Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Welcome to the first Sunday of the year, beloved family! We are grateful to be gathered together as we step into 2025 with hearts full of hope and expectation.

Our theme for this year’s first Sunday is:
"God Has Placed You Here for Such a Time."
Inspired by Esther 4:14, we are reminded that God’s purpose for our lives is not accidental—He has placed each of us right where we are, for His divine plan and purpose. Just as Esther was chosen for such a pivotal moment in history, God has uniquely positioned you for the season you are in.

As we reflect on the year ahead, let us remember that we are called to be a light, to take bold steps of faith, and to walk with courage, trusting that God is in control of every detail of our lives.

In this new year, let us step forward with the confidence that God has equipped us for the challenges and opportunities ahead. Whether in our homes, workplaces, or communities, we are here for such a time as this!

We invite you to join us this Sunday as we delve deeper into this powerful word and ask God to reveal His purpose in our lives for this year.

Service begins at 10:00 AM.

🌟 What a Night of Prayer, Praise, and Power! 🙏✨

Last night, the Bethlehem Baptist Church came alive with a spirit-filled Crossover Night Service! From heartfelt worship to soul-lifting messages, we gathered as one family to thank God for His faithfulness throughout the year and to step boldly into the new one with renewed hope and purpose.

The testimonies shared reminded us of God’s unwavering grace, and the prayers ignited a fire in our hearts to keep trusting Him no matter what lies ahead. Every song sung and every word spoken felt like heaven touching earth!

We laughed, we cried, we rejoiced, and most importantly, we stood united as a community of believers. As we shared this sacred moment, we were reminded that we are stronger together, bound by faith and love.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, and helped make this night a memorable one. Special gratitude goes to our pastor Rev. J Boyd Whea, worship team, and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. You are truly appreciated!

A Joyful Day of New Beginnings at Bethlehem Baptist Church!

What a beautiful and spirit-filled day as we celebrated baptism a public declaration of faith and a step closer to God!

We rejoice with our brothers and sisters who made this life changing commitment. It was truly a testimony of God's grace and love at work in their lives.

Let us continue to pray for them as they embark on this journey of faith, trusting in the Lord to guide, strengthen, and bless them abundantly.

What a blessed Sunday we had today! We were truly filled with the spirit of Christmas as we gathered together to worship and celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our hearts were lifted by powerful praise and worship, and Pastor Rev. J. Boyd Whea Sr. delivered a timely message reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas. We were reminded of the words from Luke 2:11: “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”

Today’s service was a beautiful reminder of the hope, peace, and joy that Jesus brings into our lives. We are so grateful for the fellowship of our church family, and it was wonderful to see so many of you worshiping together in one spirit. 💒✨
