After one day of intense Cake and Pastry training, many young people of the St. Pius X Catholic Youth Organization has embraced the opportunity to develop valuable skills, become self-reliant, and help generate funds for the youth organization.
Through this initiative, our young people are learning to make and sell a variety of delicious products, including shortbread, cornbread, cassava bread, cinnamon rolls, sausage rolls, donuts, and cakes. π§π₯π©
Today, we are especially proud of one of our own @ Lazellyn Princess Packerson, who put her newly acquired skills into practice by baking and beautifully icing a cake for her best friend's birthday. ππβ€οΈ
This is a wonderful demonstration of how skills training can empower our young people to use their talents creatively, support one another, and contribute positively to the growth of the youth organization.
π Special thanks and appreciation to our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Hamilton Quayeson, Rev. Fr. Charles Nagbe Snortee Makara, our Youth Animator Dr. Laurene Morris, Ms. Akosua C. d'Almeida, our instructor, the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), our dear parishioners, and all the young people who continue to support and participate in this initiative.
Together, we are building skills, creating opportunities, and empowering the next generation. πͺπ½β€οΈ
