VACANCY ANNOUCEMENT-TEACHERS NEEDED
The Rescue Mission International School System-Destiny Christian Academy is seeking for dedicated and passionate Teachers to join our team. This role is pivotal in fostering a nurturing and enriching educational environment for our Daycare, Nursery, Primary and junior students. Success in this position means creating a positive impact on students' academic and personal growth, instilling strong values, and contributing to the overall mission of the school. The Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students and the community, working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and parents to deliver an exceptional educational experience.
Responsibilities
• Develop and Implement Curriculum: Design and execute engaging lesson plans that meet educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Student Assessment: Evaluate and monitor student progress through various assessment methods to ensure academic success and address individual needs.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
• Parental Communication: Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress, challenges, and successes, fostering strong home-school partnerships.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.
• Collaborative Engagement: Work with fellow teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs that support the school’s mission.
• Extracurricular Activities: Lead or assist in extracurricular activities and school events, promoting a well-rounded educational experience for students.
Qualifications
• Education: C-certificate/Degree in education, or 2+ years of experience
• Experience: Previous teaching experience. Experience in faith-based education is advantageous.
• Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.
• Certifications: Valid teaching certification in.
