WHAT DID JESUS MEAN WHEN HE SAYS "I NEVER KNEW YOU?"
And then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you evildoers.’
MATTHEW 7:23.
Well, to properly answer the question, we have to look out for the meaning of the phrase from the Greek context. In Greek, the word NEVER is an adverb called "outepote," and it means, not even at anytime, that is, never at all; neither at anytime etc.
The word KNEW is the Greek word called "ginosko," and it means, to get a knowledge, or perceive of. Another meaning is, to be acquainted with.
To coin the both Greek definitions, Jesus is in other words saying, I never at anytime had a knowledge of you.
So, does it really mean that Jesus didn't have a knowledge of those that He will depart from Him? That's impossible because Jesus is an Omniscient God, that means, He knows everything that happens before it happened. The Bible even says, He knows the number of strain of hair that are on our heads. Amen! So, if that's not the case, what's He actually saying in the context of the text?
Jesus Christ is simply telling those will be cast away from His presence during His judgment, are those who are not part of His salvation plan at all, even from the beginning of time. Before you condemn me, let me quickly take you to few of the many scriptures that testify to that truth.
John 6: 37
All that the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will not at all send away.✽
That scripture in other words saying, all those God has chosen to be saved will come Jesus Christ, and because they are chosen by God to be saved, when come to Jesus, He will not send them away from Him. Amen! Let me add another scripture quickly. John 10: 27-29:
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 And I give to them eternal life,✽ and they will never perish,✽ neither will anyone sn**ch them out of my hand.✽ 29 ✽My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all.✽ And no one is able to sn**ch them out of ...

WHAT'S THE GOSPEL?
Today, christians believe that the gospel is based on Old Testament's knowledge, that's why, they replaced the true meaning of the gospel of Christ with the Law of the Old Testament.

My friend, the gospel simply means, "Good News." If its "Good News," what good news is that? The answer is, it is the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul made reference to the Gospel of Christ, let's see 2 Thessalonians 2:13, 14;

But always we are bound to give thanks to God for you, brethren loved by the Lord✽, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation✽ through sanctification of the Spirit✽ and belief in the truth✽. 14 To this he called✽ you by our gospel,✽ to obtain a share in the glory✽ of our Lord Jesus Christ.

One line in verse 13 says; because God has from the beginning chosen to salvation through the sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.

That's very important because, it reveals what the gospel is. The gospel is about what Christ did for us since some 2,000yrs ago. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, resulting into our redemption is the "Good News" for us today.
Another thing the Apostle says is, this is for those who God has chosen from the beginning through the sanctification of the Holy Spirit.... You see that? Those of who are truly saved by God's grace, are saved because we were chosen to be saved by God! We're not saved based on merits, we saved based on God's grace! That's the gospel that the Apostle preached and taught. This gospel doesn't operate on laws keeping. No Sir! It operates on God's unmerited favor He demonstrated through His only Son Jesus Christ, while we were yet sinners -Romans 5:8.

Are we preaching that gospel today, or another gospels? Let's preach and teach the gospel of Christ that will point the people's attention to what God did through His only begotten son Jesus Christ, on the cross of Calvary since 2,000yers, when we were not even born. Amen!

THE GOSPEL THE APOSTLE NOT SHAMED OF

Do we care to know about the gospel the Apostle Paul is not ashamed of? If the Apostle is not ashamed of a particular gospel, it means, there are gospels that we must be ashamed of. However, let's go to the scripture to discover the gospel the Apostle is not ashamed of.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, first to the Jew,✽ and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness✽ of God is revealed✽ from faith to faith. As it is written,✽
“The righteous will live by faith”.

First, the gospel that Apostle is not of ashamed of, is the gospel that brings salvation to everyone who believes.

What does he mean?
He means, the gospel that brings salvation is a gospel that requires faith alone in Christ and the cross. Let's see Romans 10:9,10:

That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart man believes for obtaining righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made for salvation.

There are few important things we must consider into that scripture:

First, confession with your mouth the Lord Jesus.
If you confess that Jesus Christ is your Lord, gives you the right to His salvation. Confession is the product of faith. No one will confess what he or she doesn't believe; you confess by conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Second, believe in the resurrection power of God, gives you access to God's righteousness, without which, no one will see God.

Third, the heart is the source of believe.
In other words, faith springs forth from the heart and not the lips. A genuine believe in the Lord comes from the conviction of the heart.

These are the pillers of the gospel that Apostle Paul is not ashamed of. It's a gospel that fully reveales what God did through His only begotten son Jesus Christ, and not what man has done or must do in his efforts and strength to please the Lord. What Jesus Christ did on the cross for us, pleased the Lord, and that's why His salvation is by His grace alone. Let's Ephesians chapter 2:8,9:

For by grace you are saved through faith,✽ and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God✽; 9 not of works, so that no one should boast.

Few things that reference tells us that makes the Apostle Paul is not ashamed to preach the gospel of Christ:

1. WE ARE SAVED BY GOD'S GRACE
Grace is God's unmerited favor, a favor no man is capable to work for, demonstrated through His only begotten son.

2. GOD'S SALVATION BY HIS GRACE COMES THROUGH FAITH ALONE AND NOT WORKS OF MEN.

God doesn't depend on our good works and behaviors to save us. If that was the case, He wouldn't have sent His only begotten son to die for us. Our good works and behaviors are not as good in the eyes of God, because what we claimed to be good comes from a sinful nature which was passed unto us by Adam; and that's why God doesn't save us on the bases of our good works and behaviors.
Besides, if we are saved based on our good works and behaviors, we will not reference God's mercy and grace for us, but rather, we will boast of ourselves efforts and ability. Unfortunately, that is what we are doing today in our christian life.
The Apostle Paul is ashamed of the gospel of Christ Jesus because its what the Jews and Gentiles considered "FOOLISHNESS and WEAKNESS. " Let's find it out from the scripture as well.

but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block✽ to the Jews, and foolishness✽ to the Greeks, 24 but to those who are called,✽ both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 ✽Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1Cor 1:24,25.

The Gentiles believe in signs, while Jews believe in miracles. So the only way they could believe in the gospel of Christ was through signs and miracles. More besides, they couldn't be convinced that Jesus Christ is God. How can a Supreme Being with all authority died hanging on a tree? Therefore, they both, considered the gospel that the Apostle Paul preached to be "foolishness and weakness." And that's the main reason why, the Apostle Paul was not ashamed to preach what tthey considered to foolishness and weakness.

Before I leave, are we preaching and teaching the gospel that the Apostle Paul says he is not ashamed of? Or, are we preaching different gospel? The gospel that is not foundation on Christ and His cross, is another gospel. This kind of gospel, doesn't point the people's attention to what God has done for them through His only begotten son Jesus Christ, but rather, pointing the people on what they can do and must do, through their selves efforts to please God. Read Luke 18:10-14, you will understand what self -righteousness does.

Let's preach and teach the gospel of Christ, which also is the gospel of Grace (Acts 20:24), and not be ashamed like the Apostle. God bless you. Amen!

ROMANS 6:1 DUTIES UNDERSTANDING

Today, many christians, even including great men and women with sacred titles, have not come to understand why the Apostle Paul saked the question in Romans 6:1.

Their repeatation of the question is due to their misunderstanding of it. They believe in their heart the Apostle asked the question to discourage people from trusting and depending on the message of Grace. They believe that the reason the Apostle asked the question, is to prove that grace message is a lesson to sin. However, what is his reason behind his question? To check it out, we have to go back to chapter 5, partially, verse 20, to see the reason he asked in chapter 6:1.

In verse 20 of chapter 5, the Apostle Paul says ;
Moreover, the Law came in so that the offense might abound. But where the Law abounded, grace abounded much more aboundantly.

This verse sounds as if the Apostle Paul is saying that, the only way grace can increase is when there is more sins. Therefore, people should sin so that grace can increase aboundantly. So, the Apostle having perceived in his mind, he asked in chapter 6:1 and said:

"What shall we say, should we continue to sin so that grace will abound? The next verse tells us what the Apostle meant for which, he asked the question. The Apostle answered and said; "Absolutely not!" How can you who is dead live again to sin?"

The Apostle is simply telling us that we can not continue sin so that grace can abound because believers are dead to the sin in Christ. If you are dead to sin, it means, that sin cannot reign in your life again, because it doesn't have authority over you anymore! There only one who has authority over you now, is the Holy Spirit, because is the Holy Spirit who has authority over you anymore because you are alive with Christ. Since you are alive with Christ, it is Christ who is in control now. Therefore, you need not to work with the sin consciousness, but rather, with righteous consciousness. When we're awakening to our righteousness, we will not sin intentionally or constantly. See Cor. 15:34.
In verse 14 of the same scripture that:"Sin shall not dominion you because you are under law, but grace."
So, the Apostle is not asking the question to discourage us from preaching and listening to grace messages and teachings, but rather, it is by grace we can overcome the challenges and power of sins. Amen!

ARE WE SAVED BY WORKS OR BY FAITH ALONE?
While you are yet to give your answer, let me provide an answer that is based on scriptures.

Let's first of all establish that all human beings are sinners and in need of a Savior (Romans 3:23). There is only one Savior, and His name is Jesus Christ. Amen!
HOW DOES HE BECOMES OUR SAVIOR ?
He paid our sin price we couldn't pay on our own for our redemption (John 3:16).

OUR SALVATION IS BASED ON FAITH AND NOT WORKS(ROMANS 3:24,25).
Millions around the World today believe that they can God's salvation by their good works through His name, but that's truth. My friend, if you don't believe in the Lord and accept Him as your Lord and personal Savior, there is no amount of good works can take you to heaven. That's why the Apostle Paul could say:

For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8,9).
Two things I want to draw your attention to into that scripture as I close:
1. Salvation is a gift from God
2. Its by grace through faith in Christ.

If you know these two important key points the the Apostle mentioned, you won't have to butter working for salvation, which, you are qualified to do because of your sinful nature. Amen. I hope this will help those of us that struggling to work for our salvation because a great man of God told us do so. With all due respect, your salvation from God a free gift from Him because He doesn't you to boast. Amen!
God bless you He gives you the understanding to truly understand the truth about your salvation. Amen!

HOW DO WE UNDERSTAND AND INTERPRET ROMANS 6:1?
Many great people of God, with all due respect, understand that a way of the Apostle Paul expressing his regret of preaching grace without repentance. Others believe that the Apostle is saying, God's grace is the strength to sins. What's your own thoughts about it too? Well, what I wait for your response, let me provide education on the Apostle Paul means, when says:
"What shall we say than, shall we continue in sin that grace might abound?"
The Apostle Paul is not asking that question to discourage people who trust and depend on God's grace, but rather, he asked to discourage and correct people who stand against grace as a lesson given to people to sin more.
In response to his question he said; absolutely not! How shall we who died to sin, live any longer in it?
In other words, the Apostle is saying, if any think that grace is lesson that leads believers to sin, that person has not come to understand the spiritual implications of being dead to sin. That is, if understand that you are dead to sin, you wouldn't think grace encourages believers in sin. Let's check it out in verses 3-5:
"Do you not know that as many of us as we're baptized into Jesus Christ, were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him through baptism into His death, so that just as Christ was raised from the death by glory of the Father, even so, we also might walk in the newness of life."
That potion of the text states the reasons why we should not be sin conscious as believers.
We being baptized into Christ's death means, be born in Christ. If we are born in Christ that means, we are dead to sin, and if dead to sin, sin doesn't have authority over us again, it is the Holy Spirit who has authority over us. If means, we have entered into special relationship with Christ that has separated us from the power of sin. Meaning, we are under a new authority, and that new authority is Jesus Christ. Our immersion in Christ is not based on our merits, but the grace of God; and that's why, we should not think that grace gives us lesson to sin. On the opposite, is the Law that gives strength to sin, and not grace. Check it out in verse 14.

11/04/2026

God's justice prevails through the cross. He has the right to set all sinners free for their sins against Him, and no one will hold Him guilty. But He chose to meet the requirement for our sins through death; and His resurrection serves as evidence of the debt He paid for our sin on the cross. Forever, He is just and justifier of all who believe in Him. Amen!

Now that we are justified by Him, there is, therefore now, no condemnation for us who are in Christ Jesus by faith. Isn't that wonderful? Instead of Him judging us, He is now our advocate. See 1 John 2:2. Being our advocate, every tongue that runs judgment against us shall ever be condemned by our Defense Counselor, Jesus Christ. Amen!

By the way, He is advocate only for all those who believe in Him, and if you have not done so yet, and He is calling you, don't delay, because you don't know when He calls upon you through death. Amen!

DON'T STRUGGLE TO POSSESS WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE.
Many believers, including great church leaders are struggling to possess what they have already got in Christ. My friend, what you are struggling and fasting for, is being made available in Christ Jesus, since 2,000yrs ago.
If you fight to get what you already possess, either, it is based on your ignorance or you live with a slave mentality; Gal. 4:6,7. Into that scripture, the Apostle Paul says, we are now, sons and daughters of God, and no longer slaves, and if we are sons and daughters of God, than, we are heirs with Jesus Christ. That means, whatever belongs to God, belongs to Christ, and when it belongs to Christ, than, it belongs to us as well. For example, healing and prosperity belong to us in every aspect of our lives. We don't have to beg God for healing and success again, neither, do we have to go for quote on quote, miracles service. We do that, we are living a slave mentality, knowingly or unknowingly.
Jesus Christ didn't partially gain victory over Satan and his demonic authority for us, He completely gained the victory over Satan and his agents forever! He completely, totally, disarmed Principalities and powers, not for Himself, but for us, and instead of us enjoy the experience of His complete victory over Satan in Christ, we fighting and struggling to possess what we already have in Christ, thinking that, the devil still has authority over us. Here's what Ephesians 2 4 says about it:

But God who is reach in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in sin, He made us alive in Christ ( by grace you have been saved), raised us up together, and seated us together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.....
The Apostle Paul provides the understanding of where are currently seated, and how we are seated. He are seated in heavenly places, and how are we seated? We're seated in Christ, and not on our strength. And if we seated Christ, it means, we seated in Christ's victor. Why live with a slave mentality when you are more than conquerors in Christ?

When our Lord Jesus Christ said on the cross, "It is finished," what does He really mean? The word"It is finished," is us...
04/04/2026

When our Lord Jesus Christ said on the cross, "It is finished," what does He really mean?

The word"It is finished," is used in the perfect passive tense. That means, the action has taken place but it's effects continues on.

It will be very interesting to us Christians, if we understand what this last statement of our Lord on cross means to us.

Our Lord Jesus Christ came on a mission on earth, and that mission is to redeem mankind from eternal condemnation that Satan masterminded again us through Adam and his wife Eve in the Garden of Eden. Read Isaiah 9:6; 53:5-; John 3:16 to get more of that.

"It is finished, " is a statement that validate the accomplishment of the mission Christ on, on our behave. That means, believers are no longer under the power of eternal condemnation, the judgment that awaits those who will not be saved. Also, the consequential effects caused by Adam's disobedience are finished. In other words, the remedies for sicknesses, diseases, viruses and failures, frustrations; depression, oppression and disappointment are available for us through Christ. That's why the Apostle Paul meant when said, we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Amen!

My friend, if you believe that through the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the mission of your redemption is finished, and you walk in the realities of what are finished for you, you will live in a victorious christian life, the rest of your days on planet earth. Amen!

Have a wonderful resurrection experience as we approach the end of this Holy Week. Amen!

THE BENEFITS OF BEING A SON OF GOD

Because you are sons, God sent fourth His Spirit of His Son into your hearts, calling out "Abba, Father."
Therefore you are no longer a slave, but son, and if son, than, a heir of God through Christ.

Two important benefits for being a son of God:
1st. GOD'S SPIRIT IS RELEASED IN YOUR HEART
2nd. YOU ARE HEIR OF GOD THROUGH CHRIST, NO LONGER SLAVE

✓ The Spirit of God in you, is evident that you have been approved by God as His son, and therefore, you are sealed with His presence. To be sealed with His Holy Spirit means, you have His authority with you, and by knowing and believing that you carry God's authority in your life, you will be afraid of what enemies say and plan against you. You will walk through your valley of shadow of death, and you will fear no evil like David because with Him, you are more than conquerors. Amen! That's the first benefit.

Second benefit:
You're no longer a slave, but hire of God through Christ. That means, you have equal rights to God's inheritance.

What is inherent? Is everything your father worked for and owned before he died, and his son, you immediately takeover whatever your father earned and left behind. In the context of the scripture, everything that belongs to God is yours through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. That means, you have every good thing of life because every good and perfect gift belongs to your Father. Amen!

Are we enjoying the inheritance of Father in Christ? Majority will say no. Why? Because they're living as sons, but with slave mentality. We're blessed, favored, healthy and are the heads in everything, but we failed to believe that we are who our Father says we're by faith, and we wish to work for what belongs to us already. That's slave mentality as a son of God. We need to believe and claim what we have in Christ and live in its reality. Amen! If you live in the realities of who God says you are, you will live a victorious christian life. Amen!
