🕊️ In Loving Memory of Rev. Fr. Geethaly Annesley

With profound sorrow, we mourn the passing of Rev. Fr. Geethaly Annesley, Parish Priest of St. Lazarus’ Church, Hekiththa, Wattala Deanery.

We extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the parishioners of St. Lazarus' Church, his family and all who mourn his passing.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

📍 Thursday, 16th July
• 9.00 a.m. – The mortal remains will be brought to the Archbishop’s House Chapel.
• 11.00 a.m. – The remains will be received at St. Lazarus’ Church, Hekiththa, where they will lie in state until 8.00 p.m.
• 8.00 p.m. – The remains will be transferred to St. Sebastian’s Church, Kandana.

📍 Friday, 17th July
• 3.00 p.m. – Requiem Mass at St. Sebastian’s Church, Kandana.
• Interment will follow at the Kandana Church Cemetery.

May the Lord welcome his faithful servant into the fullness of eternal life.

Today, our church joyfully celebrated the Feast of Our Lady Rosa Mystica. 🌹🙏

As we received the final blessing, our hearts were filled with faith, hope, and gratitude. May Our Lady Rosa Mystica continue to intercede for us, protect our families, and lead us closer to Christ.
