Temple Story.
Pompakala Sri Karumariamman Temple, is a historic Hindu temple located on the North Ratnapura city, Sri lanka.
Pompakela Sri karumari amman kovil is that having almost 100years of history over the period.
The temple is situated in the mid of a wonderful location in which banyan (nuga gaha) & Bo- Tree (Bo gaha) are available in both side respectively.
இரத்தினபுரி பொம்பகலை ஶ்ரீ கருமாரியம்மன் தேவஸ்தானம் வடக்கு இரத்தினபுரி நகரில் அமைந்துள்ள வரலாற்று சிறப்பம்சம் மிக்க ஆலயமாகும். இது ஏறத்தாழ 100 வருடங்கள் பழமைபொருந்தியது.
ஆலமரம் மற்றும் அரசமரம் இருபுறமும் புடைசூழ ஆலயமானது அவை இரண்டுக்கும் மத்தியில் மிக அதிசயமான முரையில் அமைந்துள்ளது.
ශ්රී කරුමාරියම්මන් නාග පතතිනි දේවාලය රත්නපුර උතුර නගරයේ පිහිටි ඓතිහාසික දේවාලයකි. මෙහි ඉතිහාසය වසර 100 පමණ පැරැණිය.මෙම දේවාලය බෝ සහ නා ගස් මැදිව තිබීම අපූර්ව දර්ශනයකි.නුග ගසෙහි ඒක් අත්තක් හස්තියකුගේ හොඬවැල ස්වරූපයක් ගැනීම තවත් එක් විශේෂත්වයකි.
In the ancient time the statue of the kovil had been painted to be colorful & was called as Sri Muththumari amman by the people. The main clergy who had come during the Kumbabishesham event (Commencement of the religious activities as norm) in 2004 had rectified the lack of knowledge of the people on the statue and explained the significance of the statue thereof to be called as Sri Karumari amman.
The kovil has been registered in the Department of Hindu religious & affairs. (Reg. No. HA/06/RAT/29)
ஆதிகாலத்தில் அம்பாளின் விக்கிரகமானது வர்ணப்பூச்சுக்கள் பூசப்பட்டு வர்ணமயமாக காணப்பட்டதுடன் அம்பாள் ஶ்ரீ முத்துமாரியம்மன் என அழைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தாள்.
எனினும் 2004ம் ஆண்டு ஆலய கும்பாபிஷேக கிரியாகால குருக்களாக வந்திருந்தவர் கற்பக்கிரகத்தில் காணப்படும் விக்கிரகமானது ஶ்ரீ முத்துமாரியம்மனுடையது ஆல்ல எனவும் அது கருமாரியம்மனுக்குரிய சிறப்பம்சந்களையே கொண்டுள்ளது எனவும் சுட்டிக்காட்டினார்.
இவ் ஆலயமானது இந்து சமய கலாசார அலுவல்கள் திணைக்களத்தில் பதிவுசெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது (பதிவு. இல். HA/06/RAT/29)
2004 වර්ෂයේදී දේවාලයේ මහා කුම්බඅභිෂේක උත්සවය පැවැත්වූ අතර මෙම දේවාලය හින්දු ආගමික හා කටයුතු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ රෙජිස්ට්රාර් අංක HA / 06 / RAT / 29 යටතේ ලියාපදිංචි කර ඇත.
The elements of the annual special event are known as Varushabishegam (vaarshika uthsawaya), Alankaara Utsavam that take place in a specific continuous duration of 10 days whereas Paatkuda Bawani (Kirikala Uthsawaya) & Ther Bawani (Vel Uthsawaya) are separate events take place at the end of the ceremony as well as significant moments in the entire celebration.
The Paatkuda Bawani is starting normally from Ratnapura Sivan kovil or wherever another nearest secret place in the city.
Ther Bawani is one of the most colorful event where the God Karumari amman is visiting around the Ratnapura City by the way of a Ther Radham (Ther Rathaya) in order to bless the people.
ஆலயத்திள் விஷேட விழாக்களாக வருஷாபிஷேகமும், அலந்கார உற்சவமும் விளந்குவதோடு அவ் விழாவின் இறுதி அந்கந்களாகவும் விஷேட நிகழ்வுகளாகவும் காணப்ப்படுவது பால்குட பவனியும் தேர் பவனியுமாகும்.
தேர் பவனியின்போது தேவி ஶ்ரீ கருமாரியம்மன் அம்பிகை அடியார்களுக்கு அருள் பொழியும் பொருட்டு சித்திரத்தேரில் அமர்ந்து இரத்தினபுரி நகர எல்லையை வலம்வருகிறாள்.
දේවාලයේ වාර්ෂිකව පවත්වන විශේෂ උත්සවයක් වශයෙන් වර්ෂාභිෂේක, අලංකාර උත්සවය හැඳින්විය හැකි අතර එම උත්සවය දින 10 ක කාලයක් අඛණ්ඩ පැවැත්වේ.වාර්ෂික උත්සවය අවසන් දිනයේදී පවත්වන කිරි කල උත්සවය සහ වේල් උත්සවය මෙහි වැදගත් අංගයන් වේ.
වාර්ෂික කිරි කල උත්සවය රත්නපුර සිවන් කෝවිලෙන් හෝ ප්රසිද්ධ දේවාලයක් අසලින් ආරම්භ වේ.
වාර්ෂික මහා වේල් උත්සවය ඉතාමත් අලංකාරවත් අංගයක් වන අතර ශ්රීී නාග පතතිනි මෑණියන් වේල් පෙරහරකින් රත්නපුර නගරයට වඩම්මවා බැතිමතුන්ට ආශිර්වාද කරයි.
The Ther Bawani starts from the kovil premises and will continue its travelling via following directions.
Reservoir Road ( Jalasaya para), Kudugalwatte,Sivan Kovil, Pulungupitiya Road, & Turns to the Main Road (Post office, Clock Tower,CIB Shopping centre) Bus Station Road , Outer circular Road, & Back to the Kovil Premises.
தேர் பவனியானது ஆலய எள்லையிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு நீர்தாந்கி வழியினூடாக குடுகல்வத்தையை அடைந்து இரத்தினபுரி சிவன் கோவிலை அடைந்து அந்கு இடம்பெறும் விஷேட பூஜைகளின் பின்பு புளுந்குபிட்டி வீதியினூடாக ஆலயத்தை வந்தடையும்.
දේවාල භූමියේ සිට ආරම්භ වන මෙම වේල් උත්සවය, ජලාශය පාර, කුඩුගල්වත්ත, රත්නපුර සිවන් කෝවිල, පුළුගුපිටිය පාර පසු කරමින් කෙළින් වීදිය ( ප්රධාන තැපැල් කාර්යාලය, ඔරලෝසු කණුව, CIB වෙළඳසැල ), ප්රධාන බස්නැවතුම , ඇතුල් රවුම් පාර හරහා දේවාලය වෙත පැමිණේ.
