In Sri Lanka central province has Sri Selva Vinayagar Temple situated at panwila village. This temple was built in 1969 the first administration group had bought land and built a temple. Administration group as follows: President of Mr.Nadarajah pillai, Vice president of Mr.Arumugam teacher, Secretary of Mr. Karuppiah pillai, and Treasurer of Mr.Sellamuthu pillai, other assist to member of committ
ee also public and well wishers. All members contributed to work hard one celebrated first consecration of an idol had done well. Mr.Nadarajah pillai (President in 1969 – 1972) who continued the temple process. Karuppiah pillai (President in 1972 – 1980). 3rd consecration of an idol had done by Mr.Sidhambaram pillai (President in 1980 – 1985) who arranged a navagraha also. Mr.Sellamuthu pillai (President in 1985 – 1987) worked as a former temple treasurer, and he originate a great temple management. Mr.Karuppiah pillai (President in 1987 – 1990) again came to the leadership position. Also he preserve hugely contributed to our cultural heritage. Mr.Mayil vaaganam (President in 1990 – 2002) who had brought a new Amman sculpture and a Vishnu sculpture (Donated by Ravindran family - Balagolla). Moreover constructed by bell turret. He had decided to improve children’s education thus and so He was started Ara Neri School. After that Mr.Vijaya kumar (President in 2002 – 2012) who had re-construction the temple and he had started preschool for children education. Mr.Suresh kumar (President in 2012 – Still) carrying this re-construction and who assist to organized a free class for developed scholarship test students of panwila region furthermore, He opportunity to build up good Hindu Society.
