Kolonnawe Siri Sumanagala Thero was born on 24th September 1969 and entered the priesthood at the age of thirteen on 21st July 1982. Kolonnaawe Sumanagala Thero used to live in different temples and conduct his sasana activities and moved to “Samadhi Asapuwa” (present Devram Vehera) in 1999 for the “Vas season”. Sumanagala Thero laid the foundation stone for the Sri Devram Maha Vehera which was an

abandoned paddy field. Thereafter within one year that is 24th September 2000 different sections of the temple were opened with one week-long religious ceremonies. From that day onwards gradually many different sections of the vihara were built on Devram Vehera premises and it is believed that and this sacred place is worshiped by both devas and lay devotees.

ආගමික භක්තිය සහ අසල්වැසියාගේ නිදහස

​ශ්‍රී ලංකාව වැනි විවිධ ආගම් අදහන රටක, ආගමික වතාවත්වලට අප සැමගෙන් ගෞරවයක් හිමි වේ. නමුත් "ඔබේ භක්තිය තවත් අයෙකුට පීඩාවක් විය යුතුද?" 🤔

✅ නිවෙස්වල සිටින රෝගීන් සහ වැඩිහිටියන් දැඩි අපහසුතාවයට පත් වේ.
✅ විභාගවලට සූදානම් වන දරුවන්ගේ අවධානය බිඳ වැටේ.
✅ රාත්‍රී සේවය නිමවා පැමිණෙන අයගේ නින්ද අහිමි වේ.

​අපි නීතිය දැනගනිමු:

ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨාධිකරණ තීන්දුවකට අනුව (SC FR 116/2006), රාත්‍රී 10:00 සිට පෙරවරු 6:00 දක්වා ශබ්ද විකාශන යන්ත්‍ර භාවිතය සීමා කර ඇත. ඕනෑම ආගමික ස්ථානයකින් පිටතට ඇසෙන සේ ශබ්දය නිකුත් කිරීමට නම් පොලිස් බලපත්‍රයක් අනිවාර්ය වේ.

​අපේ අරමුණ ආගමික ස්ථානවලට විරුද්ධ වීම නොව, "නිහඬව සිටීමේ අයිතිය" සුරැකීමයි. 🤫🚫🔊
