“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.”
— Matthew 28:6

On this glorious day of Easter Sunday, we rejoice in the victory of life over death and the triumph of light over darkness. The resurrection of Christ fills our hearts with renewed hope, faith, and the promise of new beginnings.

May the joy of the risen Lord strengthen our faith, inspire us to walk in His light, and fill our lives with peace and love.

Holy Saturday ✝️🕯️

“Because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.”
— Psalms 16:10

On this sacred day of silence and waiting, we stand between the sorrow of the Cross and the promise of new life. In the stillness of the tomb, hope quietly endures, reminding us that God’s plan is unfolding even when all seems lost.

May this Holy Saturday fill our hearts with patient faith and prepare us to rejoice in the light of the Resurrection.

🕊️ A Moment of Prayer and Remembrance

With hearts united in faith, we gathered for the Memorial Holy Mass in loving memory of our beloved former secretary Madhara savindhi and our brother Sameera Gunawardana. It was a meaningful time for our community to come together in prayer, remembrance, and thanksgiving for a life devoted to service and faith.

The Catholic & Christian Movement of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka extends its sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Ruwan Perera, OMI and Rev. Fr.Ganapathi Devaraja for celebrating this Holy Mass and guiding us in prayer with such compassion and spiritual wisdom ✝️

We also thank all staff members, students, and well-wishers who joined us and made this moment truly special through their presence and prayers.

🕯️ May her soul rest in the eternal peace of the Lord.

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception 🤍✨| December 08

“Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you.”
— Luke 1:28

Today we joyfully celebrate the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary — chosen by God from the very beginning and filled with His divine grace. 🤍🌿 She is the perfect model of faith, purity, obedience, and total trust in God’s plan.

As we mark this beautiful solemnity, may Mother Mary inspire us to live with clean hearts, strong faith, and humble obedience to God’s will. May her life lead us closer to Christ each day. ✨🙏

Today we joyfully celebrate St. Nicholas, the patron saint of children and sailors ; a true model of generosity, humility, and hidden acts of kindness 💙✨ His life reminds us that real giving comes from a pure and loving heart.

With heavy hearts, and in light of the tragic disaster that has affected our nation, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Celestia‘25 – Carol cart.

This was meant to be a celebration of light and joy, but at this moment, our hearts stand in solidarity with those who are grieving, suffering, and rebuilding their lives. 🕊️🙏
