It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Ven Dr Rienzie Perera. Funeral arrangements are as follows: Viewing from the morning of Thursday, 6th August at the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour. There will be prayers at the Cathedral at 2.30 pm on Friday, 7th August. The funeral service will be on 7th August at 4.00 pm at the Church of SS Mary and John, Nugegoda, followed by burial at the graveyard.

With sorrow we announce the death of Jeevaratnam Chelliah mother of Rani Jesudian of our parish. Funeral arrangements are as follows;
Viewing from Monday 29th June at 9.00 am at AF Raymonds, Borella.
Parlour prayers on Tuesday 30th June at 2.30 pm followed by burial at the Anglican section of Kannatte in Borella. Please uphold the family in your prayers.

With sorrow we announce the death of FRANCES PERERA sister of Winston Perera of our parish. You may pay your respects at the church from 2.30 pm today. The funeral service will be at 3.00 pm on Thursday 25th June 2026 at the Church of SS Mary and John Nugegoda followed by the burial at the church grave yard. Please uphold the family in your prayers.

There has been a notable spike in Dengue cases in Sri Lanka this month due to the heavy rains.

This is a reminder to keep your environment clean to help minimize the risk.

*Ensure to clear up any items that might collect water and breed mosquitoes; including plastic bags and containers, coconut shells and any other items that might lead to the spread of Dengue.*

Let’s take steps to be a responsible Church community and ensure the health and safety of ourselves and those around us.
