The Archdiocesan Catechetical Apostlate organised the Awards Ceremony on 09th May 2026 in Colombo to award Certificates to the Catechists of the Colombo Archdiocese who successfully completed the *Catechists' Final Examination in 2023.*

Rt. Rev. Dr. Anthony Jayakody, the Auxiliary Bishop of Colombo graced this occasion as the Chief Guest.

Shano Fernando, Vinol Fernando and Himaya Fernando were awarded Certificates during this ceremony for obtaining *Distinction Passes* at the Catechists' Final Examination - 2023.

They were appreciated during the Sunday School Mass on 7th June 2026 by Rev. Fr. Dinesh Prasan Appuhamy the Director of the Archdiocesan Apostlate for Catechists and Rev. Fr. Anthony Fernandopulle the Parish Priest.

ජේසුස් ස්වාමිදරුවන් සොහොන් ගැබ තුළ සැතපී, උත්ථානය උදෙසා බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් සිටි දවස අදයි. හෙට උදාවන ඒ උතුම් උත්ථාන මංගල්‍යය වෙනුවෙන් අපේ පුංචි හදවත් ආදරයෙන් සූදානම් කරමු! 🕯️✨

Today we remember the day Jesus rested in the tomb, waiting for the glorious Resurrection. Let’s prepare our little hearts to welcome the Risen Lord tomorrow! 🕯️✨

"කුරුසිය මත ලියැවුණු ලොව ලොකුම ආදර කතාව..."

දහම් පාසල් යන අප සැම, ජේසු සමිඳුන් පෙන්වා දුන් ඒ නිහතමානීකම සහ ඉවසීම අපේ ජීවිතවලට ආදර්ශයක් කර ගනිමු. කුරුසිය යනු වේදනාවේ සංකේතයක් නොව, මනුෂ්‍යත්වයේ ජයග්‍රහණයේ සංකේතයයි.

"මා ඔබට කළාක් මෙන් ඔබත් කරන්න..." 🕊️✨
අද වැනි මහ බ්‍රහස්පතින්දා දිනක, ජේසුස් සමිඳාණන් තමන් වහන්සේගේ ශ්‍රාවකයන්ගේ පාද සෝදමින් ලොවටම නිහතමානීකමේ උතුම් පාඩම කියා දුන්නා. දහම් පාසල් දරුවන් වන අපිත්, ජේසු වගේම අනුන්ට සේවය කරන, නිහතමානී දරුවන් වෙන්න අදිටන් කර ගනිමු.

2025 වර්ෂයේ පැවැති බයිබල් දැනුම මිනුම තරගාවලියේන් සමස්ත ලංකා මට්ටමින් දස්කම් පෑ පෙරියමුල්ල තුෂාරයේ අප ස්වාමිදුවගේ දහම් පාසලේ දුවා දරුවන් හට අදාළ සහාතික පත් හා පදක්කම් කොළඹ අගරදගුරු පදවි දහම් පාසල් අධ්‍යක්ෂ ගරු දිනේෂ් පියතුමා විසින් ප්‍රදානය කරන ලදි.

පෙරියමුල්ල තුෂාරයේ අප ස්වාමිදූගේ දේවස්ථානයේ ගොබ් ඉරුදින සමගින් පාස්කු සතියේ ආරම්භය කරන ලදි.

ගොබ් ඉරිදා (Palm Sunday) යනු ක්‍රිස්තියානි ආගමික ශුද්ධවූ සතියේ (Holy Week) ආරම්භය සනිටුහන් කරනු ලබන විශේෂ දිනයකි.
මෙම දිනය, ජේසුස් වහන්සේගේ ජෙරුසලම නගරයට ජයග්‍රාහී ලෙස ඇතුළු වීම සිහිපත් කරයි.

ගොබ් ඉරුදින දහම් පාසල් දිව්‍ය පූජා යාගය කොළඹ අගරදගුරු පදවි දහම් පාසල් අධ්‍යක්ෂ ගරු දිනේෂ් පියතුමාගේ මෙහෙය විමෙන් පවත්වන ලදි.

Sunday school of Our Lady of snows church Periyamulla held a spiritual way of the cross reminiscing the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ this Easter at the Church and at the Convent of Perpetual help today the 22nd of March 2026.

චතාරිකයට සමගාමිව පෙරියමුල්ල තුෂාරයේ අප ස්වාමිදුවගේ දහම් පාසලේ දහම් ගුරුවරුන් සහ දූවා දරුවන් එක්ව ජේසුස් වහන්සේගේ දුක් ප්‍රාප්තිය මෙනෙහි කරමින් අද දින (22.03.2026) අධ්‍යාත්මික පාද නමස්කාරය සිදු කරන ලදි.
