A Celebration Filled with Love & Devotion to Our Blessed Mother✨✨✨✨

Yesterday, our St. Sebastian’s Sunday School Poruthota family joyfully came together to celebrate the Birthday of our Blessed Mother Mary. 🩵

On behalf of our entire Sunday School family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Parents’ Committee and especially to all the mothers who took the lead in making this celebration so beautiful and meaningful.

From the decorations to every little detail, your time, effort, and dedication beautifully reflected the love and devotion you have for our Heavenly Mother. ✨

A particularly touching moment was the beautiful procession of our mothers, carrying the statue of Mother Mary around the church. It was more than a procession it was a beautiful testimony of faith, love, and honour towards the Mother of God. 🙏🩵

Thank you to every mother who walked, served, decorated, organised, and contributed in your own special way. Your devotion has created a beautiful example for our children and reminded us all that when we come together in faith, even simple acts of service become something truly special.

May Mother Mary continue to intercede for all our mothers, children, teachers, and families, and may she always lead us closer to her Son, Jesus. 🙏✨

🌹 Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On this beautiful feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we celebrate Mary, who was taken body and soul into the glory of Heaven.

May we look to Mother Mary as a loving example of faith, humility, obedience, and complete trust in God. May her intercession guide our families, our children, our teachers, and our entire parish community closer to Christ.

May Our Blessed Mother continue to watch over us, lead us towards her Son, and fill our hearts with hope and peace.

Seven years later… and still, a nation waits for the truth.

The candles have melted.
The tears have dried in silence.
But the pain of Easter Sunday still lives in the hearts of thousands.

269 innocent souls were taken.
Families were destroyed.
Children lost parents.
Parents buried their children inside the house of God.

And yet…
the truth remains hidden behind politics, power, and manipulation.

We refuse to forget.
We refuse to stay silent.
Justice delayed is justice denied.

No more cover ups.
No more protecting the powerful.
Reveal everyone responsible for the Easter Sunday attack.

Let the truth come to light.
Let justice rise above politics.
Let the voices of the victims finally be heard.

🕯️ For the innocent.
🕯️ For the broken families.
🕯️ For the truth Sri Lanka deserves.

වසර 7ක් ගතවුණත්…
තවමත් මේ රට සත්‍යය බලාගෙන ඉන්නවා.

ඉටි පහන් නිවී ගියා.
කඳුළු නිහඬව වියළී ගියා.
නමුත් පාස්කු ඉරිදායේ වේදනාව අදත් දහස් ගණනක හදවත් තුළ ජීවත් වෙනවා.

අහිංසක ජීවිත 269ක් අපෙන් උදුරා ගත්තා.
පවුල් විනාශ වුණා.
දරුවන්ට දෙමාපියන් අහිමි වුණා.
දෙමාපියන්ට තම දරුවන්ව දෙවියන්ගේ ගෘහය තුළම භූමදානය කරන්න සිදු වුණා.

ඒත් අදටත්…
සත්‍යය දේශපාලනය, බලය සහ සැඟවීම් අතර සිරවෙලා.

අපි අමතක කරන්නේ නැහැ.
අපි නිහඬව ඉන්නේ නැහැ.
ප්‍රමාද වන යුක්තිය කියන්නේ යුක්තිය අහිමි වීමක්.

තවත් සැඟවීම් එපා.
බලවතුන් ආරක්ෂා කිරීම නවත්වන්න.
පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරයට වගකිවයුත්තන් හෙළි කරන්න.

සත්‍යය එළියට එන්න දෙන්න.
යුක්තිය දේශපාලනයට වඩා උසස් වෙන්න දෙන්න.
විපතට පත් වූවන්ගේ හඬ අවසානයේවත් ඇසෙන්න දෙන්න.

🕯️ අහිංසකයන් වෙනුවෙන්.
🕯️ බිඳුණු පවුල් වෙනුවෙන්.

On this blessed day, we honour our Heavenly Mother who lovingly watches over our nation and guides us with her gentle presence.

🙏 As youth, we place our lives, our service, and our future into her caring hands, asking her to strengthen our faith, unite our hearts, and lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ. May her intercession bring peace, harmony, and blessings upon our families, our parish, and our beloved country.

🇱🇰 Our Lady of Lanka, Mother and Queen of Sri Lanka, pray for us and continue to guide the youth of today to become faithful witnesses of Christ tomorrow. ✨🤍
