ස්වර්ගයට යාම සඳහා කතෝලික සභාවේ ප්‍රධාන භක්ති අභ්‍යාස 5ක්

කතෝලික සභාව විසින් අනුමත කරන ලද භක්ති අභ්‍යාස කිහිපයක් ඉතා අගය කොට සලකනු ලබන්නේ, ඒවා මරණාසන්න මොහොතේදී දෙවියන් වහන්සේ සමඟ ඇති මිත්‍රත්වයේ රැඳී සිටීමට අවශ්‍ය ආත්මික වරප්‍රසාද (Final Perseverance) ලබා දෙන බැවිනි.

සුභ මරණයක් සහ ස්වර්ග රාජ්‍යයට ඇතුළත් වීම පිළිබඳ විශේෂ පොරොන්දු සමඟ බැඳී පවතින ප්‍රධාන කතෝලික භක්ති අභ්‍යාස 5 පහත පරිදි වේ:

1. ජේසුස් වහන්සේගේ දිව්‍ය හෘදයට ඇති භක්ති අභ්‍යාසය (පළමු සිකුරාදා දින නවයේ අභ්‍යාසය)

මෙම භක්ති අභ්‍යාසය ආරම්භ වූයේ 17 වන සියවසේදී ශුද්ධ වූ මාග්‍රට් මේරි ඇලකෝක් (St. Margaret Mary Alacoque) මුනිවරියට ජේසුස් වහන්සේ විසින් දෙන ලද පෞද්ගලික දර්ශන පදනම් කරගෙනය. උන්වහන්සේගේ ශුද්ධ වූ හෘදයට ගෞරව කරන අයට ජේසුස් වහන්සේ පොරොන්දු 12ක් ලබා දුන් අතර, ඉන් වඩාත්ම ප්‍රසිද්ධ පොරොන්දුව වන්නේ මහා පොරොන්දුව (The Great Promise) යි:

+ පිළිපැදිය යුතු වත්පිළිවෙත : ජේසුස් වහන්සේගේ ශුද්ධ වූ හෘදයට වන්දි ගෙවීමේ අදහසින් අනුප්‍රාප්තික (එක දිගට එන) මාස නවයක පළමු සිකුරාදා දිනවලදී සුදුසු අන්දමින් ශුද්ධ වූ දිව්‍ය සත්ප්‍රසාද වහන්සේ ලබා ගැනීම.

+ ස්වර්ගය පිළිබඳ පොරොන්දුව: "නව මාසයක් පළමු සිකුරාදා දිනවල කඩ නොකර දිව්‍ය සත්ප්‍රසාදය ලබන සියල්ලන්ට අන්තිම දක්වා පැවතුමත්, මාගේ අප්‍රමාණ දයාව සහ ප්‍රසාද නිධාන නැතුව නොනැසීමත්, අන්තිම පැයේ දී මම ඔවුන්ට ස්ථිර රක්ෂාස්ථානයක්‌ ව සිටීමටත්, මාගේ හෘදයෙහි කරුණාවේ අධික වේගයෙන් ද සර්වවල්ලභ ප්‍රේමයෙන් ද දෙවා වදාරන්නට පොරොන්දු වෙමි."

2. මරිය තුමියගේ නිර්මල හෘදයට ඇති භක්තිය (පළමු සෙනසුරාදා දින පහේ අභ්‍යාසය)

1925 දී ෆාතිමා හි ලුසියා සහෝදරිය (Sister Lucia) වෙත දර්ශනය වූ මරිය තුමිය, ඇයගේ නිර්මල හෘදයට විරුද්ධව සිදු කරන අපහාස හා අකෘතඥතාවලට වන්දි ගෙවීම සඳහා මෙම භක්ති අභ්‍යාසය ඉල්ලා සිටියාය.

පිළිපැදිය යුතු වත්පිළිවෙත : එක දිගට එන මාස පහක පළමු සෙනසුරාදා දිනවලදී පුද්ගලයෙකු විසින් පහත කරුණු ඉටු කළ යුතුය:
1. පාපොච්චාරණය කිරීම (එම දිනට දින 8කට පෙර හෝ පසුව).
2. සුදුසු අන්දමින් ශුද්ධ වූ දිව්‍ය සත්ප්‍රසාද වහන්සේ ලබා ගැනීම
3. ජපමාල පන්ති පහක් උච්චාරණය කිරීම.
4. ජපමාලයේ අභිරහස් ගැන මෙනෙහි කරමින් විනාඩි 15ක් මරිය තුමිය සමඟ ආත්මිකව කාලය ගත කිරීම.

ස්වර්ගය පිළිබඳ පොරොන්දුව : මරිය තුමිය මෙසේ පොරොන්දු වූවාය: " පස් මසක් අඛණ්ඩව පළමුවන සෙනසුරාදාවන්, පාපොච්චාරණය සිදුකර, මරිය තුමියගේ නිර්මල හදවතට වන්දි ගෙවීම පිණිස ශුද්ධ වූ දිව්‍ය සත්ප්‍රසාදය ලබා, අභිරහස් පහක් සමඟ ජපමාලය උච්චාරණය කර, ජපමාලයේ අභිරහස් පහක් විනාඩි පහළවක් මෙනෙහි කරමින් මා සමග භක්තියෙන් සිටින සියලු දෙනාටම මරණාසන්න මොහොතේ දී උපකාර කිරීමට මම පොරොන්දු වෙමි. "

3. ශුද්ධ වූ ජපමාලය (පොරොන්දු 15)

ජපමාලය කතෝලික සභාව තුළ ඇති බලගතුම ආත්මික අවියක් ලෙස සැලකේ. ඩොමිනිකානු සම්ප්‍රදායට අනුව, මරිය තුමිය විසින් ශුද්ධ වූ ඩොමිනික් මුනිතුමාට සහ භාග්‍යවන්ත ඇලන් ඩි ලා රොෂ් වෙත ජපමාලය විශ්වාසවන්තව යදින්නන් වෙනුවෙන් විශේෂ පොරොන්දු 15ක් ලබා දී ඇත.

+ ගැලවීම පිළිබඳ පොරොන්දු කිහිපයක්:
"ජපමාලය මඟින් තමන්ව මට භාර කරන ආත්මය විනාශ නොවනු ඇත."
"ජපමාලයට සැබෑ භක්තියක් දක්වන කවුරුන් වුවද සභාවේ සක්‍රමේන්තු නොලබා මිය නොයනු ඇත."
"ජපමාලය විශ්වාසවන්තව යදින්නන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ ජීවිත කාලය තුළදී සහ මරණයේදී දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ ආලෝකය සහ උන්වහන්සේගේ වරප්‍රසාදයන්හි පූර්ණත්වය ලැබෙනු ඇත; මරණාසන්න මොහොතේදී ඔවුහු පාරාදීසයේ ශුද්ධවන්තයන්ගේ කුසල්වලට හවුල් වන්නෝය."
"ජපමාලයට භක්තිවන්ත වූවන් මම ශුද්ධිකාගාරයෙන් (Purgatory) මුදා හරින්නෙමි."

4. දේව දයාවේ භක්ති අභ්‍යාසය (Divine Mercy Devotion)

1930 ගණන්වලදී ශුද්ධ වූ ෆවුස්තිනා කොවල්ස්කා (St. Faustina Kowalska) මුනිවරියට දර්ශනය වූ ජේසුස් වහන්සේ, පව්කාරයන් වෙනුවෙන්, විශේෂයෙන්ම මරණාසන්න හෝරාවේ පසුවන්නන් වෙනුවෙන් ඇති උන්වහන්සේගේ අසීමිත දයාව අවධාරණය කළහ.

පිළිපැදිය යුතු වත්පිළිවෙත: දේව දයාවේ මල්දම (Divine Mercy Chaplet) යැදීම සහ ප්‍රතිරූපයට ගෞරව කිරීම, විශේෂයෙන්ම පස්වරු 3:00 ට (මහා දයාවේ හෝරාව) මෙය සිදු කිරීම.

පිළිපැදිය යුතු වත්පිළිවෙත: කතෝලිකයෙකු පූජකවරයෙකු ලවා නිල වශයෙන් මෙම කාර්මෙල් බෙන්තින්ඤය ආශිර්වාද කර පළඳවා ගත යුතු අතර, මරිය මවුතුමියට කැපවීමේ ලකුණක් ලෙස එය නිරන්තරයෙන් පැළඳ සිටිය යුතුය. එමෙන්ම තම තත්ත්වයට අනුව පාරිශුද්ධ ජීවිතයක් ගත කිරීමට උත්සාහ කළ යුතු අතර දිනපතා යාච්ඤා කළ යුතුය.

The Catholic Church highly treasures several approved devotions because they provide the spiritual graces necessary for Final Perseverance (The Grace to die in Friendship with God).

The most prominent Catholic devotions historically associated with special promises regarding a happy death and entering Heaven include:

1. Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus (The Nine First Fridays)

This devotion stems from the private revelations given by Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in the 17th century. Jesus gave 12 promises to those who honor His Sacred Heart, the most famous being the Great Promise:

The Practice: Worthily receiving Holy Communion on the first Friday of nine consecutive months with the intention of making reparation to His Sacred Heart.

The Promise of Heaven: "The all-powerful love of My Heart will grant to all those who shall receive Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance; they shall not die under My displeasure, nor without receiving their Sacraments; My Heart shall be their assured refuge at that last hour."

2. Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (The Five First Saturdays)

Requested by Our Lady of Fatima in 1925 to Sister Lucia, this devotion focuses on making reparation for the blasphemies and ingratitude committed against Mary's Immaculate Heart.

The Practice: On the first Saturday of five consecutive months, a person must:
1. Go to Confession (within 8 days before or after).
2. Receive Holy Communion worthily.
3. Recite five decades of the Rosary.
4. Keep Our Lady company for 15 minutes while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary.

The Promise of Heaven: Our Lady promised to "assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, shall confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me."

3. The Holy Rosary (The 15 Promises)

The Rosary is considered one of the most powerful spiritual weapons in the Church. According to Dominican tradition, Our Lady gave 15 specific promises to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan de la Roche for those who faithfully pray the Rosary.

The Promises regarding Salvation:
"The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish."
"Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church."
"Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have, during their life and at their death, the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise."
"I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary."

4. Devotion to the Divine Mercy

Revealed to St. Faustina Kowalska in the 1930s, Jesus emphasized His unfathomable mercy for sinners, especially at the hour of death.

The Practice: Praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet (often using Rosary beads) and venerating the Divine Mercy Image, particularly at the 3:00 PM hour (the Hour of Great Mercy).
The Promise of Heaven: Jesus promised St. Faustina: "Write that when they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the merciful Savior."* He also promised that even the most hardened sinner, if they pray this chaplet only once, would receive grace from His infinite mercy.

5. Wearing the Brown Scapular

The Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel was given to St. Simon Stock in 1251.

The Practice: A Catholic must be formally enrolled in the Scapular by a priest and must wear the wool Scapular constantly as a sign of consecration to Mary, while striving to live a life of chastity according to their state in life and praying daily.
The Promise of Heaven: Our Lady’s promise was: "Whosoever dies clothed in this Scapular shall not suffer eternal fire." The Church clarifies that this means Mary will intercede to ensure that the wearer receives the grace of final repentance before they die.

Keep in Mind !

While these devotions are deeply beautiful and encouraged, Catholic theology stresses that they are not a license to sin. For example, a person cannot intentionally commit mortal sins and expect to go to Heaven just because they wear a Scapular or did the First Fridays.

Instead, the true value of these devotions is that they transform your heart, draw you closer to the Holy Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and bring down God’s grace to help you stay faithful to Christ until your very last breath.
