The Annual Islamic Religious Ceremony of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) took place on July 21, 2026, at the Kollupitiya Jummah Mosque to honor fallen heroes.
Special Dua & Remembrance Ceremony for Fallen Heroes of the Sri Lanka Air Force
A special remembrance ceremony was held to honour the brave Sri Lanka Air Force personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of the nation.
The event was graced by the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, and was organized by the Directorate of Welfare and coordinated by SLAF Base Ratmalana.
During the ceremony, the officiating Moulavi offered prayers and made special Duas seeking the mercy and blessings of Almighty Allah upon the souls of those who sacrificed their lives in service to the country. Prayers were also made for the safety, protection, and well-being of all serving members of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The gathering was attended by senior Air Force officials, members of the Air Force Board of Management, officers, other ranks, and the beloved families of fallen heroes.
May Almighty Allah grant mercy to all those who lost their lives in service and bless their families with strength and patience. May He protect and guide all those who continue to serve our nation.
