Is the Event which was organised by the Students who Love Kegalu Vidyalaya to Celebrate the service done by A Great Teacher who was retired on this Day, Mr. Walisinghe , who is also an Old Boy of Kegalu Vidyalaya.

සිසු නා පදවි ලද්දෝ 2013 - Kegalu Vidyalaya

The Annual Prefects' Investiture of Kegalu Vidyalaya was Held on 31st May 2013 in Professor Jinadasa Perera Memorial Auditorium in Kegalu Vidyalaya.

Mr. Bandara , which is an OLD boys of Kegalu Vidyalaya and an Execative Officer in SRilanka Navy was the Chief Guest of this Occasion.

The Pricipal, Teachers, Old Prefects and Prefects From Several Schools were there to celebrate the Pride coronation of Vidyalayans' Prefects.

The Singer Rugby Tournament 2013 - Division B

Kegalu Vidyalaya, Kegalle Vs Ashoka Vidyalaya, Colombo

Score Card : 12 - 05

Kegalu Vidyalaya won the match by leading of seven (7) points. Ishan Jayawardhane and Nilaksha Munasinghe scored the two winning tries for home team, Kegalu Vidyalaya.

The Match was held on 09th May 2013 at Publish Esplanade, Kegalle.

Mr. Jayathilaka , who was a great teacher in Kegalu Vidyalaya has passed away. He was among the teachers who teach from the heart, not from the book.

He has been working in Kegalu Vidyalaya around 1986 to 1998.

The Funeral will be held on 22nd of April at Buluruppa , Hettimulla.

He may attain supreme bliss of Nirvana !
