17 after the end of the civil war, we pause to remember with deep respect the Gentlemen of Trinity College who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to Sri Lanka.❤💛💙
They were not only members of the Armed Forces - they were the sportsmen, leaders, prefects, and young men shaped by the true spirit of Trinity. For many of us who grew up in the 80s and 90s, they were heroes we looked up to with immense pride and admiration.
Their courage, discipline, and sense of duty extended far beyond the classroom and playing fields, carrying the values of Trinity directly into service for the motherland. Today, we remember them not only for their sacrifice, but for the lives they lived- defined by honor, leadership, and a commitment to something greater than themselves.
Their legacy remains forever woven into the history and spirit of Trinity College.
