මගේ ආදරණීය සහෝදරවරුනි, සහෝදරියනි, මිතුරන් සහ පවුල්,🙏✝️
අපගේ ස්වාමීන් වන ජේසුස් ක්රිස්තුන් වහන්සේගේ බලවත් නාමයෙන් ඔබ සැමට කරුණාව සහ සාමය.
අද මම මගේ හදවතින් යමක් බෙදා ගැනීමට කැමතියි. ආදරය කිසි විටෙකත් එක් දිනකට පමණක් සීමා නොවිය යුතුය. ලෝකය විශේෂ දිනවල ආදරය සමරයි, නමුත් සැබෑ ආදරය සෘතුමය නොවේ, චිත්තවේගීය නොවේ, තාවකාලික නොවේ. ආදරය ජීවන රටාවකි. ආදරය යනු අණකි. ආදරය යනු පරිත්යාගයකි.
අපට ආපසු ආදරය කරන අයට පමණක් නොව, අපගේ සතුරන්ට පවා සෑම දිනකම එකිනෙකාට ප්රේම කිරීමට අපට කැඳවනු ලැබේ. යේසුස් වහන්සේ අපට ඉගැන්වූයේ සමාව දීමට, අපට ශාප කරන අයට ආශීර්වාද කිරීමට සහ අපට රිදවන අය වෙනුවෙන් යාච්ඤා කිරීමටයි. මෙවැනි ප්රේමයක් මිනිස් ශක්තියෙන් පැමිණෙන්නේ නැත. එය දෙවියන් වහන්සේගෙන් පැමිණේ.
ආදරය පවුලෙන් ආරම්භ විය යුතුය. අපට අපගේම නිවෙස්වල ප්රේම කළ නොහැකි නම්, අපට ලෝකයට ප්රේම කළ හැක්කේ කෙසේද? ස්වාමිපුරුෂයන්, ඔබේ භාර්යාවන්ට ප්රේම කරන්න. භාර්යාවන්, ඔබේ ස්වාමිපුරුෂයන්ට ගරු කරන්න. දෙමාපියන්, ඔබේ දරුවන්ට සත්යයෙන් මඟ පෙන්වන්න. දරුවන්, ඔබේ දෙමාපියන්ට ගෞරව කරන්න. ක්රිස්තුස් වහන්සේගේ ප්රේමය බැබළෙන පළමු ස්ථානය පවුලයි.
ලෝකය උගන්වන්නේ ආත්ම-ආදරය ඉහළම ඉලක්කය ලෙසයි. නමුත් තමා කෙරෙහි පමණක් කේන්ද්රගත වූ ප්රේමය දෙවියන් වහන්සේගෙන් නොවේ. අපි යේසුස් වහන්සේ අනුගමනය කරන විට, අපි අපවම ප්රතික්ෂේප කරමු, අපගේ කුරුසිය උසුලාගෙන උන්වහන්සේගේ මාර්ගවල ගමන් කරමු. ක්රිස්තුස් වහන්සේ අනුගමනය කිරීම යනු උඩඟුකමට වඩා නිහතමානීකම, පළිගැනීමට වඩා සමාව දීම සහ ආත්මාර්ථකාමිත්වයට වඩා සේවය තෝරා ගැනීමයි.
පළමුව, ආදරය යනු කුමක්දැයි අප තේරුම් ගත යුතුය. පිළිතුර හැඟීමක් නොවේ. පිළිතුර පුද්ගලයෙකි - යේසුස් ක්රිස්තුස්.
අප නුසුදුසු වූ විට ඔහු අපට ප්රේම කළේය. අප තවමත් පව්කාරයන්ව සිටියදී ඔහු අප වෙනුවෙන් මිය ගියේය. අප ආත්මිකව කැත වූ විට, කැඩී බිඳී ගිය විට පවා ඔහු අපව ඔහුගේ මනාලිය ලෙස හැඳින්වීය. ඔහු අපව සෝදා, අපව පවිත්ර කර, අපව යථා තත්ත්වයට පත් කර, අපට නව ජීවිතයක් ලබා දුන්නේය. මෙය සැබෑ ප්රේමයයි - පරිත්යාගශීලී, නිර්මල සහ පරිවර්තනය.
උන්වහන්සේ අපට එලෙස ප්රේම කළේ නම්, අපි අන් අයටද එලෙසම ප්රේම කළ යුතුය. අපි මිනිසුන් දෙස ඔවුන්ගේ වැරදි හරහා නොව කරුණාවේ ඇස්වලින් බැලිය යුතුය. අපි වැටුණු අයව ඔසවා තැබිය යුතුය, වරදකරුවන්ට සමාව දිය යුතුය, බිඳුණු අයට සැනසිය යුතුය, අන් අයව සත්යයට ගෙන යා යුතුය.
ප්රමාද නොවන්න. පරිපූර්ණ මොහොතක් එනතුරු බලා නොසිටින්න. අද ක්රිස්තුස් වහන්සේගේ මාර්ගය තෝරා ගැනීමට දිනයයි. ප්රේමය සැබවින්ම අදහස් කරන්නේ කුමක්දැයි ඉගෙන ගන්න. උන්වහන්සේගේ මාර්ගයේ ගමන් කරන්න. උන්වහන්සේගේ ආදර්ශය අනුගමනය කරන්න.
අපගේ ජීවිත අපගේ නිවෙස්වල, අපගේ පල්ලිවල සහ අපගේ ප්රජාවන් තුළ යේසුස් වහන්සේගේ ප්රේමය පිළිබිඹු වේවා. ලෝකය අප තුළ ක්රිස්තුස් වහන්සේ දැකීමට ඉඩ දෙන්න.

Grace and peace to you all in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Today I want to share something from my heart. Love should never be limited to just one day. The world celebrates love on special dates, but true love is not seasonal, not emotional, and not temporary. Love is a lifestyle. Love is a command. Love is a sacrifice.
We are called to love one another every day — not only those who love us back, but even our enemies. Jesus taught us to forgive, to bless those who curse us, and to pray for those who hurt us. This kind of love does not come from human strength. It comes from God.
Love must start in the family. If we cannot love in our own homes, how can we love the world? Husbands, love your wives. Wives, respect your husbands. Parents, guide your children in truth. Children, honor your parents. The family is the first place where Christ’s love should shine.
The world teaches self-love as the highest goal. But love centered only on self is not from God. When we follow Jesus, we deny ourselves, carry our cross, and walk in His ways. Following Christ means choosing humility over pride, forgiveness over revenge, and service over selfishness.
First, we must understand what love truly is. The answer is not a feeling. The answer is a Person — Jesus Christ.
He loved us when we were unworthy. He died for us while we were still sinners. He called us His bride even when we were spiritually ugly, broken, and lost. He washed us, cleansed us, restored us, and gave us new life. This is real love — sacrificial, pure, and transforming.
If He loved us like that, we also must love others the same way. We should not look at people through their mistakes, but through the eyes of grace. We should lift the fallen, forgive the guilty, comfort the broken, and lead others to the truth.
Do not delay. Do not wait for a perfect moment. Today is the day to choose the way of Christ. Learn what love truly means. Walk in His path. Follow His example.
May our lives reflect the love of Jesus in our homes, our churches, and our communities. Let the world see Christ in us.
