கல்குடா கடற் கரையில் இயங்கி வந்த இவ்வாலயமானது கடந்த கால உள்னாட்டு யுத்தத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு பின்னர் புதிய இடத்தில் ஆலயம் சார்ந்த மக்களால் அமைக்கபட்டது குறிப்பிடதற்கது.
