Love in Action | Community Outreach Programme

As part of the World Adventurer Day 2026 celebrations, Shalom Seventh-day Adventist Church – Ja-Ela was blessed to organize a Community Outreach Programme, putting our faith into action through love, compassion, and service.

This special initiative was a wonderful opportunity for our Adventurer Club, church members, and volunteers to share the love of Jesus by serving our community with caring hearts and willing hands. Every smile shared, every helping hand extended, and every act of kindness reflected Christ's mission of bringing hope to the world.

We sincerely thank everyone who participated and supported this outreach. Your dedication and servant hearts made this programme a meaningful blessing to many.
May we continue to be a church that not only proclaims the Gospel but also lives it every day by serving others with humility and love.

Children’s Sabbath School Program July 4th, 2026!

Our hearts are filled with gratitude to God for blessing us with a beautiful and meaningful Children’s Sabbath School Program yesterday.

The smiles, songs, prayers, and presentations by our precious children reminded us that little hands can do great things for God. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to our Church Pastor, our special guest Mrs. Dilrukshi Niroshani (Directress of Seventh Day Adventist Children's and Family Ministries Sri Lanka), our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, church members, and everyone who contributed to making this program a wonderful success. Your love, prayers, and encouragement made this day truly special.

Most of all, thank You, Lord, for guiding every child and blessing every moment.

Today, the leadership team of the Seventh-day Adventist Church Sri Lanka including Mission President Pr. Hyosu Jung, Executive Secretary Pr. Majintha Gunathilaka, and Mission Treasurer Mr. Shiron Perera together with all department directors and assistant directors, visited the Ja-Ela Seventh-day Adventist Church.

They joined in worship on the Sabbath day, followed by a leaders’ training program conducted by the grace of God.

A special highlight of the day was the dedication prayer service for all deacons of the Gampaha District, which was led by Mission President Pr. Hyosu Jung.

අද දින ශ්‍රී ලංකා සෙවන්ත්-ඩේ ඇඩ්වෙන්ටිස්ට් සභාවේ නායකත්ව කණ්ඩායම — සභාපති දේවගැති හියොසු ජන්ග්, විධායක ලේකම් දේවගැති මජින්ත ගුණතිලක, සහ භාණ්ඩාගාරික ෂිරෝන් පෙරේරා මහතා ඇතුළුව සියලු දෙපාර්තමේන්තු අධ්‍යක්ෂවරුන් සහ සහකාර අධ්‍යක්ෂවරුන් සමඟ — ජා-ඇල සෙවන්ත්-ඩේ ඇඩ්වෙන්ටිස්ට් සභාවට පැමිණියෝය.

ඔවුන් සබත් දිනයේ නමස්කාරයට එක් වූ අතර, ඉන් පසුව දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ කරුණාවෙන් නායකයින් පුහුණු කිරීමේ වැඩසටහනක් පැවැත්විණි.

දිනයේ විශේෂ අවස්ථාවක් වූයේ ගම්පහ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ සියලු උපස්ථායකවරුන් සඳහා පැවැත්වුණු කැප කිරීමේ යාච්ඤා මෙහෙයයි. එය සභාපති දේවගැති හියොසු ජන්ග් විසින් මෙහෙයවනු ලැබීය.

🌟 Children’s Sabbath School Program 🌟

On 28th March 2026, the young hearts of Shalom Seventh-Day Adventist Church Ja-Ela beautifully led the Sabbath School program, reminding us all that faith begins early and shines brightly through innocent voices and willing hearts.

It was truly a blessing to witness these little ones serve with joy, confidence, and love for God. Their participation inspires us to nurture and guide them as they grow in Christ. ❤️
