A recap of what we have been doing since the 28th of November. We had over a 150 people seek shelter at Calvary Centre and they have all been re-settled in their homes. We've cleaned many homes across Ja Ela, Miriswatte, Kotugoda, Ekala, Batagama, Kandana etc, fed thousands of people, given hundreds of ration packs and all of this was possible because of you. Thank you for all the support, donations and encouragement. The work is not done. There is a long way to go. This week we will engage 600 more families with ration packs to help them restart their lives.

Together, we will rebuild once again. 😇

Thank you everyone for your continued support. For everyone who has donated up to now, for those who came and dropped off rations, water, clothes etc, and especially for those who came and brought some special food and treats to our volunteers.

Tomorrow we start Stage 02 of our Relief effort. Many people whose houses were overwhelmed by the floods found shelter in the church. Tomorrow they will gradually be resettled.

Volunteer teams will help the elderly, the widows and homes with no Male presence to clean up the houses.

We will also give each family a dry ration pack, drinking water and clothes.
