බෞද්ධ විශ්ව ගම්මානයේ විශ්රාමික ගම්මානයේ (retirement village) ඉදිවූ 12 වන නිවස අද සිරි සමන්තභද්ර ස්වාමින්වහන්සේ ඇතුළු සඟපිරිසෙහි වැඩමවීමෙන් විවෘත කෙරුණා. මෙම නිවස ඕස්ට්රේලියාවේ බ්රිස්බේන් හි පදිංචි අර්ජුන දිසානායක මහතා විසින් තම විශ්රාම කාලය ඵලදායි ලෙස ගත කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් මෙහි ඉදි කරනු ලැබුවා.
ජීවීතයේ සැඳෑ සමය වැඩිහිටි නිවාසයකට කොටු නොවී, සතුට සැනසුම සමඟින්, ආධ්යාත්මික මෙන්ම කායිකව ද උද්යෝගීමත්ව ගත කරමින් උමංදාව වැඩපිලිවෙල සමඟින් එකතු වීමට මෙම විශ්රාමික ගම්මානයේ පිරිසට හැකියාව ලැබෙනවා.

Today, the 12th home in the Retirement Village at the Umandawa Global Buddhist Village was officially opened in the presence of Most Venerable Siri Samanthabhadra Thero and the Maha Sangha.
The home was built by Mr. Arjuna Dissanayake, a resident of Brisbane, Australia who chose Umandawa as the place to spend his retirement years in a meaningful and fulfilling way.
Instead of spending the later years of life confined to a traditional elderly home, residents of the Umandawa Retirement Village have the opportunity to live with happiness, peace, and purpose—staying active both spiritually and physically, while becoming part of the vibrant Umandawa community and its ongoing programs.
This initiative offers a unique environment where retirement can be lived with dignity, tranquility, and continued contribution, surrounded by nature and guided by spiritual values.
