ස්ත්‍රියෙක් ඇගේම කුසේ පුත්‍රයාට අනුකම්පා නොකරන ලෙස ඇගේ කිරි දරුවා මතකනැතිකරන්ට ඈට පුළුවන්ද? එසේය, මොවුන්ට මතකනැතිවෙන්ට පුළුවන, එහෙත් මම නම් නුඹ මතකනැති නොකරන්නෙමි.

O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

நீங்கள் பூமிக்கு உப்பாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; உப்பானது சாரமற்றுப்போனால், எதினால் சாரமாக்கப்படும்? வெளியே கொட்டப்படுவதற்கும், மனுஷரால் மிதிக்கப்படுவதற்குமே ஒழிய வேறொன்றுக்கும் உதவாது.

ஆகையால், இந்தக் கற்பனைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலும் சிறிதொன்றையாகிலும் மீறி, அவ்விதமாய் மனுஷருக்குப் போதிக்கிறவன் பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் எல்லாரிலும் சிறியவன் என்னப்படுவான்; இவைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு போதிக்கிறவன் பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் எல்லாரிலும் பெரியவன் என்னப்படுவான்.

එබැවින් මේ ආඥාවලින් ඉතා සුළු එකක්වත් කඩකරන්නාවූ, කඩකරන ලෙස මනුෂ්‍යයන්ට උගන්වන්නාවූ කවරෙක් නුමුත් ස්වර්ගරාජ්‍යයෙහි ඉතා සුළුයයි කියනු ලබන්නේය. නුමුත් ඒවා පවත්වන්නාවූ, උගන්වන්නාවූ කවරෙක් නුමුත් ස්වර්ගරාජ්‍යයෙහි උතුම්යයි කියනු ලබන්නේය. මතෙව් 5:19
