The Members of St Lawrence Association have extended their heartfelt support to a deserving school-going girl to pursue her education with confidence and stability.

An annual financial assistance of Rs. 24,000/- has been granted thru the Assistant Parish Priest, to support her schooling expenses. In addition, she will receive free private tuition education throughout her study journey, ensuring continuous academic guidance and encouragement.

This noble initiative reflects the Association’s ongoing commitment to nurturing young talent and empowering the next generation through education.

🙏 **Family Prayer Service – A Blessed Gathering** 🙏
We thank God for the meaningful Family Prayer Service held on 30th January 2026 at the Cathedral Parish Hall with the participation of 40.
We are grateful to Rev. Fr. Satheesh CMF for the inspiring message on Biblical Parables in Our Life, which touched our hearts and guided us in living the Word daily.
May God continue to bless our families and parish community abundantly. ✨

With deep sorrow, we share the sad news of the passing of Mrs. Vinola Fernando. A loving mother of Bro Herald Fernando , grandmother, and kind soul, she will be fondly remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering love. Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family. May her soul rest in eternal peace 🙏🕊️
A funeral prayer service was held at Jayaratne Palour on 25th January 2026 with our members participation.

Flood Relief Support for Northern Districts

With the heartfelt contributions from our members, St. Lawrence Association has provided essential flood relief support to differently-abled individuals in the Vanni, Kilinochchi, and Mullaitivu districts.

The items were officially handed over to Rev. Fr. Wilson CMF and dispatched to Vavuniya for distribution through VAROD, under the guidance of its Director, Rev. Fr. Everest.
