📖🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Our Bible Hunt on 6th June 2026 was a tremendous success! Organized by the Horizon Pathfinder Club, Adventist Youth Ministries, and Health Ministries of Bethel Chapel, this special event brought us together for a day of faith, teamwork, learning, and fun. 🤝❤️

😊 Through laughter, friendly competition, and Bible-based challenges, we strengthened our bonds, deepened our knowledge of God's Word, and created wonderful memories together. 📖✨

Organised by the Adventist Youth Ministries, Horizon Pathfinder Club, and Family & Women’s Ministries, it was a joyful time of celebrating and appreciating the incredible mothers in our church family.

💡 Throwback to May – Thinking Out of the Box 💡

Although we don’t have any photos from this session, it was one of those moments that brought everyone together in a meaningful way.

During our Thinking Out of the Box session, our youth brainstormed creative and practical ideas for sharing God’s love with others. From outreach initiatives to simple acts of kindness, we collected a variety of out-of-the-box ideas that challenged us to think beyond the usual and find new ways to connect with people for Christ.

It was encouraging to see so many young people contributing, listening, and building on each other’s ideas. The session reminded us that God can use ordinary people with willing hearts to do extraordinary things.

✝️ Throwback to April – Nailed to the Cross ✝️

Looking back on our Nailed to the Cross programme held in early April, we are reminded of the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us.

During the programme, participants wrote their sins, burdens, and struggles on envelopes and brought them to the cross. The envelopes were then burned, symbolising that through Christ’s sacrifice, our sins are forgiven and no longer ours to carry. A red cloth was also placed over the cross, representing Christ’s blood covering our sins and making forgiveness possible.

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree.” — 1 Peter 2:24

What was nailed to the cross does not have to weigh us down anymore. ❤️

Throwback to April 11th, 2026 ✨

A beautiful day of love, care, and fellowship at Preethipura Children’s Home 🤍
Organized by Bethel’s Welfare Department and joined by the Adventist Youth, this outreach was filled with joyful smiles, meaningful moments, God’s message, and hearts willing to serve.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, supported, and took part in making this day special for the children. May we continue to share kindness and love wherever we go.

Nailed to the Cross ✝️

A meaningful and reflective youth session as we took time to understand the depth of the cross.

We watched a clip from The Passion of the Christ, reminding us that His sacrifice was real, painful, and done for each of us.

We were then reminded of a difficult truth:
It wasn’t just the Roman soldiers—
it was our sins that nailed Jesus to the cross.

Each of us wrote down our sins, sealed them in envelopes, and nailed them to the cross.
A red cloth was placed over it, symbolising that His blood has covered us.

Afterwards, we burned the envelopes — a reminder that those sins are gone, no longer ours to carry.

A deep and honest session. Grateful for everyone who took part. ❤️

🎨🖌️🎶 Our Music Therapy and Painting session was a calming and meaningful experience. Adults rarely get the opportunity to enjoy artwork, so this was a refreshing time to relax, paint, and reflect. Surrounded by Christian music and a peaceful atmosphere, we felt closer to God and closer to each other.🥰🙏🏼

A wonderful day learning practical camping skills with the Horizon Pathfinder Club at Bethel Chapel, Colombo 3. 🏕️
Many of our youth also participated and helped the Pathfinders learn how to build fires and develop important outdoor skills.
